I decided to create this for whoever decided to keep a record / track of their quests, if any, for a Cyber Elf.
Anyone is welcomed to join and start their own questing threads, keep in mind, however that I'll lay down the law about a few certain things.
For the Questers:
- Please don't be whinney about how much you want or not x pet. It won't make people donate for your cause. Be polite to the other questers.
- If you are offering things in exachange for the donations, like, say... artwork as thanks for a donation, state clearly under what conditions you'd do it and why. Do not promise something you won't fulfill. If you're reported for offering something and never finishing it without giving a reason or pretending you never offered it, will result in being booted off the questers forum and very possibly gray list or even black list you.
- Be clear and organized about your quest. Be very especific with your quest, provide updates on your progress.
For donators:
- Remember that a donation is exactly that, an amount of gold you're willing to give up to help someone else. You may not reclaim that money back if you dislike this person after a while.
- If the person you donated offers to do something in exchange for your donation, please understand you aren't purchasing a service, they are giving you something as a thank you. However, if the person never delivers what was promised, you're welcome to report it to the staff.
- PLEASE. Donate only in raw gold, it's easier to keep track of donations that way.
As additional perks, I might eventually open up a fund in a completely different account where to store donations made towards questers for people that wish to help but can't pick up a single person to give their donation to.
In the shop we might also run some events to grant discounted or even free Elves to the questers that have their quests in this forum. That said, feel free to join and open up your own quest threads here.
