Even though I am a mod on the DDR Guild, I still have some issues with wanting a better place to talk about DDR. I think there are too many people that play ddr, but know nothing about it.
I am in a group called LDWI *don't ask me what it stands for.. I'm not entirely sure and I'm not sure if anyone else knows, but it sounds cool*
this thread is mainly for them since most of them have gaia accounts, but if you're a DDR enthusiast or someone who is interested in it *with questions*, then come on and post!

Well I am still in the beginners of the Light mode... * can't move fast enough* But I rather prefer the metal dance pads over the dinky foam ones I have here at home. Cause the foam ones move too much. Almost caused me to fall and bust my butt lol blaugh

Almost caused me to fall and bust my butt lol blaugh yeah I played on one of those the entire 1st year I played.. about 6 months ago, I bought a RedOctane Ignition pad with my first paycheck at my first job *kinda pathetic, but I felt proud walking through the mall with the box *EBgames didn't have a big enoigh bag* mrgreen and then, Luck struck me with enough money to get a RedOctane Metal Pad and here we are. I play heavy mode usually.. but i spend my days here working out with it since I don't have anyone to show off to, so it's all about endurance now.

I know what it feels like to long for a hard pad and not have it. I hate how expensive college is getting and one of my soft pads has finally died out on me. Of course I have plans to mod it but first I really want to get some solid plans for it before I completely rip it appart. I mean, I can still play heavy but the foam which seperates the sensors for the right arrow is more or less compounded into a thin flake. But hopefully I'll be able to undo the stitching and get some decent foam to replace it.

At the moment my ddr pads have been put up. I hate using them with a passion. I would rather go out to the mall and spend a couple bucks to play DDR there. I swear. Once I get what's left ofver from grants and scholarships, I am so investing in some new pads blaugh But I have a feeling that, new pads or not, I will still suck lol

Hey wats up saphiro i guess im gonna introduce myself then.
im soul diminian one of the members of L.D.W.I went from light to heavy in about 4 months and i mostly was only freestyling on light for 3 months till i played some heavy songs i now im on heavy so yeah
light to heavy 4 months

I didn't introduce myself completely, you all know my name..but..
I'm one of the founders of the LDWI group. It was created last summer and has been since then.
there are more members of this group in gaia, but they haven't been online..
I'm a musician in my university band, I like DDR, laughing is good. food is good. random pennies are cool things to find.. thats it for now

Well,
I'm the Graphix Artist for several guilds here on Gaia. My name is Jacqui, short for Jacqueline. I'm an epic DDR player and one of those people that use to hate the game until they got me on a mat. I went from Beginner to Heavy in about 3 weeks, I know play B's on heavy.

i'm yoshi =) oh more? ok i'm an idealist by nature, i play in a punkish band, with soul diminian, i recently started skateing again to start getting a six pack cause now all i have is a keg sweatdrop and yea, i work at papa johns as a delivery driver, and um.. well i do ALOT of things cause well.. i dunno i guess i have nothing better to do... stare oh right, i'm the number one founder of LDWI and God damn proud of it smile -YoshiRed  that's me a while back at an LDWI meeting, i still pretty much look like that except i have a mohawk now.. so yea laterz taterz

I'm pretty good on light...and alright on standard...which is as high as I can go for now ^^...I'll keep practicing so I can reach heavy mode :3
Meh fave song is break down ^^ cuz it's really kewl...>.> to me it is.

pad: I want a metal one TT||...meh foam pads keep moving crying
fave ddr game: ddr extreme ^^ cuz it has all these kewl modes
