**DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU ARE UNDER 13 OR HAVE A PERVERTED MIND**
~~~
First off, I AM FEMALE.
A female wolf =/
Now that we got that underway, I've been having a problem where I can't seem to... -cough- "control myself" around the boys, any scent of a man drives me wild, like, I must have him, this isn't me, I'm normally a quiet person, keep to myself mostly.
I was wondering if this might be me in heat? Cause I'm never ever ever like this.
And has anyone else ever felt like this?
Comfort the Disturbed------ humans do have a short period of time that is basically our "heat", and undoubtedly it makes us females want to be a bit more sexual about things.
i find that certain times of the year, or stretches of time, the "heat" tends to be extended or multipled. i figure that either this is normal for human females, but just isn't widely known (similar to the still wellknown "fact" that women apparently aren't as sexually driven as males), or that it's my kin-ness messing a bit with how my mind is organizing it's chemicals.
if i wasn't so loopy right now i'd go look it up to see if it's normal for human females to have strange stretches of "heat" at times not along with our monthly cycles. ------Disturb the Comfortable
Like a Bloodshot Rose I've had something like what you described happen to me. I never thought it had anything to do with my other side, but now that you said that, I'm starting to wonder if the two are related.
I'm usually "in heat" about once or twice a year, I guess. During this time, I find it hard to keep myself off of the boys and I have to hold back my urges to pounce and ravish them. sweatdrop
I'll look into this later tonight, or tomorrow. I'm really curious, now. xD
Like a Bloodshot Rose In conclusion, although previous the literature shows that women do not exhibit a distinct pattern of sexual behaviour across the menstrual cycle, recent evidence based on women’s olfactory and visual perception and men’s olfactory perception suggests that women experience recurring periods of increased attractiveness and proceptivity at the periovulatory stage of their menstrual cycle. However, the changes in women’s attractiveness and proceptivity across the menstrual cycle are not as obvious, patent and overt as those displayed by females from other mammalian species. All the big words confuse me, but this article says that women do experience odd times of being "in heat." But, this article says that it's connected to our ovulatory phases and stuff in some way or another. At least I think it does. Dx Here's the link if you want to read to entire thing: Do Woman Have a Hidden Heat Period?
Yeah, I think all mammalian females have a "heat," dicatated by stage of the menstrual cycle. (Yes, other mammals do bleed, also, but not as often, or heavily, as humans.)
I know exactly what you're talking about. I've gone through it too. Also, if you're a wolf, and you live in a fairly warm region, you're at about the right time for it to happen. A female wolf will commonly mate in February or March-- a little earlier if in a very warm region.
And judging by my own clock (as I'm also Wolfkin) -- eheh-- you'd be right on schedule.
So assuming that you haven't just recently hit puberty, you're a lot hornier than usual. Hm....
Well, it might be a product of your environment. Lately, I get incredibly and almost uncomfortably horny whenever I'm at work (which is at the library). I have a few theories about the cause of this, but it might just be "one of those things." sweatdrop
Whatever it is for you, it happens to humans, too.
I can maintain "control," but I have itches that I can't just simply scratch. Like when I want to be held or kissed or something like that. I think this is silly, by nature, but necessary.
Just try to have enough restraint to not do something you'll regret.
-chuckles slightly- I 'm a female wolf therian myself; I understand completely o_o'. Now as to the cause; it really could a few different things : Are there other therians in your area? If not, this could be a sign of lonliness, or a sign that you long for the company of another- in paticular , the compant of a male wolf therian perhaps? o-o? Rider, on the inside, what kind of wolf are you? If you're an arctic wolf, it wouldn't matter if you lived in a cold area.... *thinks of how to word this * Both your human body, and your wolven spirit within, have reached a point of maturity that makes you completly capable of having a mate.
Personally, I went through this really badly around 10th grade, late 9th grade. *currently in 11th* It's not as bad anymore- I've learned to control it to a degree. Helpful Tips Well...if its any male, as in, most of them would be human : You could counter the 'wanting' for the sense of wolven pride you should have. Like.... Personally I'd control myself by thinking : I don't want to be with a human, I want to be with another like myself. So stop thinking like that.((*Has nothing against the humans here o-o -promise!- )) Keep your mind busy with school-work, not something where you can do too much thinking, if a male passes by, and you're like : O___O homg -leap- .... ( ...Okay...XD kidding..but, you get the idea ) Remind yourself you're in public. Basically, use your logic to your benefit. Trick yourself into thinking another way, or slowing down the thinking process..Not sure how to explain it... >> XD Sorry.
Goodluck.
I'm a male myself but my therioside is a female white tiger. I get those same little spells of like, extreme horniness, once or twice a year. sometimes more. sometimes less. It was really bad for about a year before I met my boyfriend though and It was nearer to the point of once about every two months. Trust me, male or female, it happens to the best of us. Most of us learn to control those urges by some means or another, mine was always "I don't want this one, he's not like me. I want someone who's special, someone different."(My boyfriend is wiccan, human wiccan, but still wiccan. That makes him special and different. Tim + Me = Yay, not so horny and happy always.XD) It's not such a big deal once you figure out how to control your urges.
Serra:: .. -giggle-
Still though, Youkais, that's not really fair. Just because someone is of an unusual religion doesn't make them better than others, just like how those of us with animal souls are no better than any human. <3 Rufu
I didn't say better. I said "Special" because to me that does make him special, and I said "Different" which is what most of mainstream society considers Wicca to be. Just like me being a boy with a girl therioside makes me special since that's not very common from what I've heard and being an otherkin/were makes me different from most of society. "special" and "Different" do not equal better just "Special" and "different". Us being a gay couple is the same.
It just seems like you are using the word special to describe things that differ from the percieved "norm". And well... a lot of that is superficial stuff.
I understand what you're trying to say, but I don't like the way you are saying it, and I sort of disagree with it.
