Who is the all time best Disney Hero? Who is the purest, most noble of characters within Disney? Well, that is what we are here to discover. Here we will hold a vote to find out which Disney Hero you all like best. Each day the poll will be changed and a Hero will be eliminated from the list. The last Hero standing, wins.

-Heroes-
(Left: 1)

1 Simba (The Lion King): The Winner

After a year of polling, this Contest is finally over. In a landslide, the young prince Simba won the Top Hero status by 3-9 over the Beast. King Simba is officially the King of this thread and the Disney Heroes... at least in the eyes of the Official Disney Guild.

I know how you feel. I have a similar problem, but fortunately for me my favorite Heroes are narrowed down to a few, since I perfer the Villains. However, those few Heroes are so close in my liking of them that it is always hard for me to choose. I usually just pick whoever I like most at the time. My favorite Hero changes almost every day, depending on which Disney film I have seen most recently, what mood I am in, who I talked about most that day, and so and so forth.

I chose Shang because he had more part in the movie. You got to see his personality, him singing (of course), his action, and his rocky relationship with Mulan biggrin

Mulan, though I did enjoy it, was never one of my favorite Disney films, so Shang was always rather low on my list. None the less, I always thought he was very cool because of all the action in the film. His commanding presence and strong character caused me to like him from the start.

Aak... Heroes are hard to choose. I've narrowed it down the five.

Jim Hawkins - I loved his modern rebellious personality. He was a teen with the urge to adventure, and finally a reason to do so. I also adore how he was a truely dynamic character.

Jack Skellington - I love the look of him. Though he was a little witless at heart, he was very determined and naturally curious. Unlike everyone else in his dark enviroment he was open to everything.

Robin Hood - Outlaw hero! He takes from the rich and gives to the poor as maidens swoon at the archery competitions he manages to sneak into. Who doesn't love this guy?

Aladdin - Here's a hero dealt a terrible hand from the get go, yet copes with it bravely. From the gutter he rises to a prince with the help of his friends, and in the end he did his best to save those which he loves. Anyone else in his shoes, especially being raised in Agrabah where selfishness prevails, would have turned rotten with the Genies' power.

Sinbad - The dashing rogue! Whose heart isn't as black as we were led to believe. His personality intrigues me.

((It is spelled Agrabah.))

I agree with you on every point. The noble, heroic personality, dashing actions, and thrilling adventures of these five heroes always captivated me, though I am a Villain-fan myself. I have to saw that I like Aladdin and Jack Skellington the most out of the five you listed, but they all interested me for different reasons. Hawkins was rebellious and adventurous, Skellington was dark and curious, Robin Hood was dashing and fun, Aladdin was true to heart and cared for his friends, and Sinbad was the sort of person every little boy wants to be.

Out of all the heroes though... one of the ones I didn't like was Prince Phillip. He seemed rather forward when he met Briar Rose... I think the only reason he didn't get a shoe in the face was because she wasn't wearing any (I believe).

The three good fairies raised her to be wary of strangers after all, you'd think at a random encounter she's be a lot more frightened.

I like Jim Hawkins and Aladdin the most. I like character development, nyah. Dynamic characters are always more interesting. Aladdin seemed to be the "poor girl marrying prince" story reversed, which is still kinda cute. And Hawkins...well, he reminds me, of myself in a way xd

Hmm... John Smith is defiantly off my list. He's great in the movie, but SOOOOO isn't like that in reality. What we know of him is NOT flattering. So yeah...

I love a lot of the heros. I went with Pongo because I think he was great in the movie.

I like Shang, Prince Eric, Tramp, Bambi, Tarzan, Beast, Simba, jack Skellington, and Jim Hawkins is cool.

I agree, dynamic characters are always far more interesting. They offer more depth and intrigue than static characters, which is why I like Hawkins. Aladdin was always a favorite as well, because he was funny and adventurous and I loved his monkey, Abu.

Yes, I would have wished to put some of those on this poll, but I had to get it down to 25 so I decided to exclude any sequels or recent film characters, for the most part. That is why characters from newer films, such as the Incredibles, Happy Feet, and Cars, are not included.

Um, heh, Lady Destiny this is not a poll for your favorite person in our history, it is for your favorite Disney Hero. If I cared about the real versions of a lot of these Disney films, then most of the characters would be off my list.
Do you have a specific Hero you love most of all, my dear?
