Many of us now in the world likes to pirate things, but I'm focusing more about the music... Do you think it's not right to pirate mp3 even though it's Christian music, I mean the one you download in the internet and you're not going to sell it to others, it's just for your private keeping. But is it wrong or right? Provide some verses if possible....

If you like the Music, buy teh CD and support teh Artist. If not, delete the MP3. It's more than just legalities, it's wanting the Artist to support more music.
So buy Newsboys. Download Backstreet Boys(though I will not force you to listen xp )

Pirating, whether it's for good reasons or not, is still stealing. Even for your little Christian music. It's still stealing from the artists. Whenever I get my music, I get CD's.

we've got another thread on this somewhere, and basically I said that I share CDs with some of my friends, because we have our iPods all set to the same iTunes libraries...works out alright. I mean, if she has a key to my home (and comes and goes as much as I do) and I am in the same situation with hers, we basically share everything already. That said, we don't illegally download, and we limit to two copies of each CD (for back up purposes and use in our vehicle). Exceptions only come up when I use CDs to help a fellow music team member learn a song for service.

Aquila Chrysaetos but how about this: I download the music since I cannot buy them for now, then I'll just buy the cd when I have the money to buy. is it ok? sad I think that works okay, so long as you still buy the CD to support the Artist.

I don't typically buy my music unless I am seriously impressed with an artist. Even then, most of the artists I like are Japanese, so I typically wait until I'm in Japan, and pay the ridiculous 3000+ yen they demand for full non-single CDs. ...unless you go to Tsutaya. Or Book Off. They gonna have to catch me in the wind!! Word.

Don't you wanna come with me? Don't you wanna feel my bones on your bones? It's only natural.
I'm a pirate. I refuse to buy albums anymore. Simple as that. It's stealing, but I don't have a problem with it. I'm 24GB strong and still going! pirate

any specific reason you refuse to buy the Albums anymore? Bands like Metallica I can understand(They blamed their fans for that fact that the "St. Anger" album didn't sell, even though it's because the group lost all talent a decade ago). But what about the Artists who might actually need teh money? And aren't you worried you might get caught by the RIAA?

.so you know how much I need you.
Bands don't get much of the proceeds from their albums selling. I don't want to give my money to the managers and producers and all that crap for the artists' music.
And yeh, there's always the risk of getting caught. But... *Shrug* Every good thing comes with a risk.
Besides. I don't have the money to buy the albums I like, so I download them instead. And I also refuse to pay more than, like, $9.99 for an album.
.and is this my final chance of getting you?.

Hm... That's another thing I've been thinking about. What's the fuss about iTunes? I don't use it because I don't have an iPod, but even people who don't have one still have iTunes. So what's the advantage of it?
