My friend Darkzumi told me a funny story that happened in the D&D game he runs with some friends from work. The party had come to a fortress of the head villain and a moat surrounded it. The party's barbarian jumped the moat and tried to grab the wall and climb it but failed. He fell in the moat and was attacked by two fish monsters, Aboleths. They mind controlled him and had him eat the slime around them! (It makes you breathe water and be unable to breathe air) Then the party's paladin fell in the water and got mind controlled too, and also had to eat slime! smile

Last game Siren Dragon said something about her pixie being only about 2 foot something tall and I said her character was eight apples tall! Then I hid behind something to avoid her wrath!!! For those of you wondering the "eight apples tall" thing is a lame joke based off the smurfs... mrgreen

And I can't really take offense at being told I'm 8 apples tall cause I've never heard that joke before

Last game the ranger tripped the paladin and stood on top of him to fight. He rolled a 20 to trip him, rolled another 20 to stop him from getting out from him. We were all joking around that he must have his d20 weighted.

The game before last the new DM we came to a town called Clam.. All the people were named something-clam, like bearded-clam, baked-clam, et cetera. I said we should put the town to the sword and burn it down and my friend Karl said if we did that we'd be having a clam bake! smile

Ok get this.... I was that barbarian that was swimming with the fishes.
That was seriously the worst rolling in my life.
Jump check! natural 20! I could clear a 40 foot gap with that.
Climb check! Natural 1! I don't think I could hold to the grass to keeping from falling off the earth. So what happened: I jumped too well and collided with the wall.
Those fishes pissed me off though! THEY MADE ME HEAL THEM WITH A CURE POTION!!! jerkfaces....
No one mentioned it but I actually with adventuring as an 8 ft tall fish beast After I ate that gooey crap... It was interesting to have to hold my breath outside of the water.
I have officially Retired Chunk Norris (The "Graceful" barbarian). He just lost the will to going after he was forced to mutalate his family jewels to keep the story going. That and to stop vampiric dyrads from opening up a Costco, Family sized can o' Whoppass on the party.
So now I have a dwarven wereboar... Can you imagine an even stouter shorter and uglier dwarf then usual? THAT'S ME!!! The 3 ft meat shield that rolls around in mud.

Yeah, it's pretty messed up. Almost everyone in the campaign made new characters, so it should be interesting. We're going down into undermountain this tuesday

I can't wait to go into Undermountain. smile Yeah the unbeatable Dryad Vampires pissed me off!!! He didn't just use the Vampire template, he added both stat blocks together! They had all their stats at like 25+... Dryads only have like 3 hit dice and the DCs for their abilities are only 14 or 15, the ones we fought had DCs of like 27! So he basically made us fight 9 undefeatable monsters. No offense to him, but he was the worst DM I ever gamed with. scream

I still can't believe he got through my spell resistance and managed to avoid my attacks. By 1 both times no less. I knew there was something up with that. Oh well, we got lots of xp for it, and we got to see chunk chop off his family jewels. although that was more morbid than interesting...
