The Library at Hogwarts School For Witchcraft and Wizardry was almost dead silent when noon came around, save for a few study groups whispering quietly to one another. The librarian, an old spinster by the name of Madam Pince, watched every group carefully as her hands roamed over the numberless -- and sometimes titleless -- tomes in her hand. The shelves were stacked as high as the ceiling, with ladders connecting ground to sky. Large tables were set between bookshelves, with plump armchairs near a roaring fire beside the Librarian's desk. Window seats allowed students some semblance of sunshine in the stone walls, and was often a favored spot. Although it was generally a place of study and concentration, every so often there would be a disruption.

This just happened to be one of those moments.

-Rather bored, Draco eyed the surrounding study groups, his eyes focusing in on a pair snogging near the restricted section. He chuckled darkly under his breath, whispering the summoning incantation to call the boys belt to him. He watched with glee as the girl shrieked, realizing that her date's pants had fallen down. Madam Pince stood up where she was sitting and began her tirade of angry curses, forcing both boy and girl to their houses. Draco walked away slowly, leaving the belt behind and pocketing his wand in an inside pocket.

What else was there to do at a library, after all?

Delnia watched Draco move with a smirk on her face and a mad glint in her grey eyes. She waited until Pince was back in her seat to close her book and follow after Malfoy. Once out in the hall, she walked along side him, muttering, "That was child's play magic in the library, Malfoy. I should hope you could do better."

-His eyebrows rose as he turned to look at her, stopping.- "And I suppose you think you can do better? What else was there -- the moment was perfect, the timing just right and it was perfectly executed."-

She smiled knowingly, flicking her wand gently. Suddenly, Malfoy's pants fell to the floor while his own belt went soaring across the hall. The oncoming group of students stopped and gaped at the two, laughing students among them. Delnia joined in with the laughing, her face red, but not as red as his.

-He glared at her first, before pulling off a wide, knowing smirk,- "I knew you couldn't keep your hands off me. Even though I'm not too hasty about public shows of affection, you may be. So, perhaps another time... however, if you're this anxious we could just do it in front of all these people." -The fact that his pants were at his knees didn't seem to phase him, in fact he was just grateful he put a little more thought into it than usual. Many of the surrounding girls blushed and walked on, while Delnia just stood there, shocked.-
"Sorry, I don't have all day Delnia," -he pulled his pants back up, winking,- "Maybe another time."

Harry rolled his eyes as he walked by Malfoy and Delnia. It was pretty stupid, the prank the pulled off. Harry sat down at a desk and flipped through Quidtich Through the Ages for the thousandth time.

~Belladonna Robads walked into the library and right up to Madame Pince's desk. "Is Quidditch Through the Ages in yet?" she asked. Madame Pince just pointed over her shoulder. Belladonna looked and saw Harry Potter had taken out Quidditch Through the Ages yet again. She stalked over to him. "Merlin, Potter, can't you read something else for a change?" she said annoyed trying to grab the book out of his hands.~

Harry stuck out his toungue and jekred the old book away. "In short, no." He answered sourly. "Besides, what else is there to read?"

Rolling her eyes, she waked past him, "As if anyone would have a go at you, you filthy Snake." Heading back into the library, she pulled a book off the shelf, took a seat on one of the window seats, and began reading. Pushing her glasses up her nose, she kept her focus on the pages. Her fingers tapped lightly on the glass in an uneven pattern. Moments like this she wished she had a cigarette between her fingers, a nasty habit she had picked up from several of her Muggle friends.

Angelina looked up and frowned. There were a lot of distractions in the library today. Maybe she should just go back to the Gryffindor common room, it would most likely be more quiet there. She would be able to finish her Potions essay much quicker in silence. The library was actually not boring today though. She had watched as Malfoy's own prank had, in a way, backfired on him, and seen Belladonna Robards trying to literally pry Quidditch Through the Ages out of Harry Potter's hands. That made her laugh, earning her a stern look from Madame Pince. There was no way Harry was ever going to part with that book, and Robards just needed to face facts.

~"C'mon Potter, give it up!" said Belladonna jumping to try and reach the book which Harry held over her head. Scowling at his smug grin, Belladonna had a thought. "Tell you what Potter," she said with a forced smile, "you give me that book, (which I only wanted to show a friend something in it), for half an hour, and I will lend you this one out of my personal library."
Belladonna reached into her bag and pulled out a heavy tome and tossed it onto the table, which shook as it landed with a thump. Gold letters on the front spelled out: The Complete and Complex Guide to Every Move from the European Quidditch Team's Repitoire. Touching the book with her hand as if she was caressing a pet cat, Belladonna spoke again. "Since I aim to become the manager of my own Quidditch team when I get old enough, I have been collecting books like this one to further my knowledge about the art of the game. This book in particular is extremely rare, and I wouldn't lend it to just anyone. Just perhaps, a future member of the best Quidditch team in the world..."
Belladonna looked at Harry and then cocked her head to one side, "So Potter, do we have a trade?"~

-Draco smirked as he watched Delnia leave, his eyes drawn to her backside but he thought nothing of it. Sure she was attractive, but as annoying and bossy as that know-it-all Granger. He sauntered back inside, heading towards the Restricted Section. Awhile back, he had asked Snape for permission and said professor had given him his note of consent.

He stepped into the quiet, dark section slowly, eyes scanning the spines of hundreds and hundreds of books. For many, the titles had been rubbed off, and some were even stained with... he honestly prefered not to think about it. Pulling out one he had read before, he leaned against one of the shelves, opened to a familiar page and began his reading.-

Harry hesitated. "Let me see that..." He snatched it away before Belladonna could protest. Carefully, he scanned the pages. "Bloody..." His voice trailed off. The moves were amazing. The chances deadly. The tricks insane. His team would call him crazy. "Deal." He said, sliding Quidditch Through the Ages over to Belladonna. "Now go away." He snapped, still scrolling through the pages. "I've got studying to do."

~Belladonna laughed and gave a smug smile. "Thanks Potter, I'll bring this back in half an hour, though I don't think you'll be needing it. I'll just return it for you."
Belladonna leaned down and placed her hand on the book to make Harry look up at her. When he did, she looked right at him. "Don't think I was kidding about wanting to manage a Quidditch team. Think about it, every team needs a Captain and a seeker." Belladonna paused as Draco Malfoy walked by, then whispered to Harry, "Not be unfaithful to my house, but you are the best seeker I've ever seen. I've read thousands of books on famous seekers in the past, and none compare to you."
Belladonna straighted and then smiled, "Think about it Potter." She picked up Quidditch Through the Ages and walked out of the library to go meet her friend.~
