Background: Mika's mom died at an early age and when her father found out what she was, she was practically disowned by the man and subjected to much abuse. Eventually, she was taken in by her mother's mother, whom she lives with until this day. She currently goes to an all-girls school and tends to be the odd one out since she doesn't dress according to dress code most of the time.

History: Misa grew up like most of the other zodiac Shogas, headed by the ever mixed Kisei. She was not kept so close to the family "god" as some of the other had been but she was forced close enough to be hurt. Many of the punishments given to her as a child were dealt to people close to her rather than herself. It was in this way that she learned how to all but kill her emotions. This earned her a brand of some sort on her upper left thigh. Her protective mother, seeing the emotional and mental happenings in her daughter, moved to Hokkaido to get away from the Shoga family. This seemed to help Misa a bit for a while, but when Kisei called for the zodiac together, Misa's mindset reverted.
The girl currently lives with her mother and younger brother in the Shoga's inner estate. Misa has never been close with her brother and has not met her father once. This may be because the man is a business tycoon in America and rarely comes back to Japan.
Personality A: very cute when speaking (usually referring to herself as Misa-ko,) acts more like a child in order to disguise her true personality
Personality B: curious, honest and kind but very straightforward, doesn't like most males and exhibits avoidant personality tendencies around them, hard to anger (unless you happen to be the rooster,) tries to put others before herself

Zodiac: Dragon
Background: Kaida's name, which means "little dragon" is a strange coincidence. Her mother named her before finding out that she was a zodiac. For some reason, only her father rejected her. It sometimes seems as though her mother pities her, but that's not true. Kaida met Yukio when they were both around 7 or 8-years old. They went to school together, both making sure the other didn'taccidentally get hugged, until one day, Kaida's best friend hugged Yukio. It was then that Kaida found out about her duty as the dragon, and had to erase her best friend's memories of the Shoga family. After that, she was more withdrawn and only spoke to Yukio and sometimes to the other zodiacs. In middle school, Yukio told her he loved her, and she said she loved him back. Kisei found out, but Kaida took all the blame without telling Yukio, and he only found out once she was in hospital. Kaida asked him to stop loving her for both of their own safety. Over the recent summer, Kaida has become a lot more outgoing, and less dependent on Yukio, but they are the best of friends.
Personality: Knows how to take care of herself most of the time, and doesn't like to be a burden on others. Assertive, but not always. With punishments, Kaida is usually the one who tries to take credit and save someone else from being hurt. Kaida keeps Yukio out of trouble when she can, and is used to dealing with her best friend. Kaida doesn't like to erase memories because it brings back her own memories from when she was little. Despite herself, Kaida can sometimes get caught up in her emotions, which usually gets herself or others in trouble.

Background: Yukio's parents abandoned him when he was very young, but an aunt took him in. His aunt forced him to meet the dragon of the zodiac when he was 7 or 8, and even though he didn't want to meet her, he became good friends with her. When Kaida had to erase her best friend's memories, Yukio promised that he wouldn't let it happen again, but it was a promise he had no right to make. Yukio confessed his love for Kaida in middle school, and then was in shock when he found out Kaida took Kisei's punishment for both of them. He promised her he would stop loving her, but that turned out to be a lie, even if Kaida doesn't know. Now that she's becmoe more social, Yukio is trying even harder to get over her, and he's hoping for both of their sakes that he can.
Personality: A typical flirt. He'll flirt with almost any girl he meets, and if he gets a good reaction, or no reaction, he'll most likely continue. Most of the time, though, he's just messing around. He's lazy and unmotivated most of the time, but when he wants to do something, it's obvious. Somewhat overprotective of Kaida, and specific about what guys he'll let flirt with her, which isn't that many. Yukio's the type who you love or you hate, so to speak. After a few conversations with him, one can't be too undecided on where they stand. However, in reality, though he almost always seems happy, Yukio has trouble with his emotions. He gets crushes easily, and sometimes gives mixed signals. Yukio is very careful about the no-hugging rule because of his promise to Kaida, and actually hasn't turned into a dog since that day. Nobody can really even remember what he looks like in his animal form.

Background: Bara and her brother Kyle lived in Russia all thier lives with thier mother thier Father a Shoga died from cancer. Unlike most parents of the zodiac both parents dored both children thier Mother loved it when they would trasform becuase Crystal thier mother loved animals. When Bara's and Kyle's father died Crystal thought it best if her children lived closer to the other cursed children and thus moved to Japan where all there now live in the mian house. Ofcorse though Bara and Kyle came for new years and that how bara became friends with Nariko from haveing danced with her that one year but other then that Bara and Kyle never really spent time with the other animals or the head or anyone else for that matter till now

Background: She was shuned (mostly) from her family, due to her being a cat. Her mother took her in, unwillingly. She stayed atleast 5 ways away from Korina at all times, and then one day she died, Korina had actually made friends with her at that point. She always had the usual qualities a cat had, and the other form, which always got to her mother. After that period of time she lived in the main house, for she refused to live with her father. (she also has the braclet.)
Personality: Sad, depressed. Happy or bubbly at times. Can be extremely social.

Background: Rei was raised to be polite, honest and hardworking, but she also loves to have fun. She gets top grades, and the teachers all love her. Of course, she does get teased about being a "teacher's pet" but tries not to react. She also won't tell anyone about how her parents are separated and she lives with her grandparents. She likes to keep up the image of her perfect life, even if it goes against what she was taught. Other than that, she's always honest.
Personality: Hardworking and honest, most of the time. Rei is also polite, and somewhat passive. It usually takes something big to make her stand up for herself.

Background: He grew up with Mika being a normal everyday average kid. At first they always played around with each other at the park, being sure not to hug her or even touch her. The first time Toru encountered with Mika’s curse revealed was when he and Mika were having a funeral for their grandpa. Everybody hugged each other as a ceremonial tradition in the family. Before his father could warn Toru, had hugged Mika and Mika turned into a calf. Toru calls Mika a farm animal because she’s a cow when she gets hugged. He is very envious of Mika at times because of her curse.
Personality: More conservative, kind of caring, likes to pick on Mika, at times flirt

Name: Noburu Hikaru Shoga (ascending light)

Zodiac: Horse
Background: He was the only child in his family. His neighbors would always hug Noburu because they always wanted to ride Noburu like a horse, taking pony rides, and at times inviting friends over for free rides on Noburu’s back. Occasionally his neighbors would set up a little stand where kids in the neighborhood would come and pay for a couple of rides around wherever they please on Noburu’s back. One day his friend told him that he should start being stuck up and start having at least an ounce of dignity in his life. So, the next time his neighbor got on him, he would buck them off his back and run off. Of course, from that day on, he became the fear of the neighborhood. No one ever came to his home ever again. His dad died of lung cancer, because he smoked tons, and his mother eventually died in a car crash. The only place he could go was his Uncle’s house. Everyone was glad that he went away into another neighborhood. ( A hobo eventually moved into his house… xD ) He started to become more and more quieter as he grew older. When he came to school, he didn’t say anything when they teacher asked what his name was. His Uncle never really found out about Noburu’s curse because his uncle was unmarried and had no female kids, nor did he have any kids.
Personality: Very quiet, physically strong, usually only speaks when he needs to or when he thinks that he should have an opinion in a conversation (like debates, ect.),stuck up

Background: Sianx's mother died during child birth and the rooster was left an orphan. His father had refused to take the boy because the man believed that the boy was the cause of the woman's death. Sianx grew up on his own for the most part, staying with the head of the family though he wasn't raised by the head. Because of how he was raised, Sianx tends to be a bit of a sourpuss and seems like he doesn't want to get along with anyone.

Background: His dad loves him a lot, but his mother hates him for some reason unknown to him. He doesn't understand much about his Family, only ever knowing the cat, Korina. He can't help but despise Korina and doesn't know how they could possibly be related. He does, in some way, like her though, and sees her sometimes a sister more then just some cat that is related to him. He is also tall for his age.
Personality: Forward and extremely charming. Brilliant and has skipped one grade, has all A's. He likes to be the funny wise guy in a group, and hates people that are overly perverted, to him normal perverted is fine but overly isn't. He is some-what perverted though. He sometimes tries to look after Korina when other's are mean or try and get her to do something he doesn't agree with. he is extremely childish and obnoxious most of the time though.

Background: Kisei used to be a jolly little boy that was very kind to his sister, and used to have a nice smile on his face. Once he was told that he was part of the Shoga's cursed zodiac he was in shock that he could only live til 30 years, thus he stesses. Kisei's only comfort is his sister only when he completely snaps. Kisei has a well payed job along with some pride. Kisei always worries about whether the curse it true or not, and whether his sister actually cares for him.
Personality: stressed, trys his hardest to be kind, short tempered, often punishes people for no apparent reason, catious, pridful, likes doing things himself

Background: Growing up in a Turkish family, Nasrin moved to Japan because of her need to the family god. The god has called for her service as a nurse though her degree in zoology. She has found ways to cope with the stress of being a zodiac animal and is able to treat most of the transformations brought to her. She is knowledgable of the animals the attended the banquet and knows that each has a different need. Nasrin rarely leaves the estate because of Kisei constantly being ill.
Personality: seems rather passive most of the time but can be easily riled up, is dangerous if she feels threatened, other stuff (her personality really starts to bloom once I start playing her)
Tiger Note: Caspian Tigers were the only tigers to have lived in Europe/the Middle East. They died out in the late 1960's and were noted for their yellow fur.

Background: Hyun-shik grew up in the streets where his parents basically raised him. He was raised to be a good child, and at one point he was a great smart child. But at some point her became dark and gloomy, always angry. This happened when his parents died in a car accident, and he was the only one to survive. Tons of bad things happened to him,he inherited all the riches and money of the family, and was taken care of by his Greedy Aunt and Uncle. Hyun-shik then escaped from them by pushing them into the street while cars were moving, but he was found innocent. Hyun-shik was very clever and some see him as a mere gothic boy who has no life in him. Hyun-shik hates being critized and often will make someone end up in crimson puddles. Even though Hyun-shik seems to be the violent one, he is actually a quiet and nonviolent person.
Personality: A)constantly angery, a little emo/gothic, tends to end up amost everywhere if he feels like bugging a person, very dark

Background: Misa Shoga's younger brother. Soku seems to be the exact opposite of his older sister and is known to be a genuis. Though he doesn't act it, the boy grew up in a very loving environment. He is tolerant of most things and doesn't particularly like or dislike anything. Though he does hold some concern for his older sister since she's part of the zodiac, he doesn't really show any like or dislike of his sibling. Unlike his sister, he has ridden in airplanes to go see their father overseas. He isn't very social at all but he isn't an a*****e when having to converse with anyone. His heart seems to be encased in ice for an unknown reason and he distances himself from most others.
Personality: brilliant, quiet, anti-social, seems to be apathetic on all things in life, can be quite brutal to his mother at times

Background: Misa Shoga's mother, Aiko's name actually means love and adoration, a very well suited name for such a woman. Growing up, the woman grew up in a very abusive family which she says is what led her to love everyone. She knows what it feels like to love someone and to be loved back. Thus, she is the kind of person who tries to accept everyone for who they are and love them in their unique ways. She can be described as a bit over the top at times.
While she does not live with her husband, she can honestly say that she still loves him with a burning passion and, when not busy loving someone else, is constantly sending the man e-mails and calling him.

Background Alfredo was born in Italy, and raised there for most of his life. That is, until recently, when his family closed down their small family-run restaurant because of bad business. They relocated in Japan, to a town nearby the Shoga estate. Alfredo spends most of his free time helping out around the restaurant with the chores that he is all too glad to do. He isn't fluent in the Japanese language yet, but can rapidly speak in Italian and knows some English. Because of this, right after the school day is over, he heads back to his family's apartment/restaurant (it's in one building). Alfredo is the youngest in the grade that he's in, and attends the same High School as most of the Shoga family does.
Personality: Shy around most Japanese people because he knows little of the language, clever, doesn't mind helping out other people with things but doesn't enjoy being the one helped out.

Background: Miyu was born in Japan, but for the majority of her elementary school life she lived in America with her parents and older brother and sister. In her second year of middle school, Miyu's father's job brought the family back to Japan. By this time, her big sister was already going to college in America, so only Miyu, her parents, and her brother came back. The year after they returned, her older brother started university. Having gone to an American school and learning Japanese from her family, Miyu is fluent in both languages. Though she is not yankee, she has been dying her hair blonde since the year before she moved back to Japan.
Her family has pretty good money, and Miyu is rather spoiled by her parents, being the only child left in the house, and the youngest, too. She often wears accessories with her uniform, which tends to get her in trouble, but as long as she gets good grades her parents don't mind.
Her first year of high school was spent at Kaibara High, but her second was in an all-girl's school. Miyu convinced her parents to transfer her back to Kaibara after the first few weeks of her third year.
Personality: Intelligent, picks up things quickly, somewhat easily agrravated, smart-mouth, a bit snobby, hard to impress, loves playing hard to get, usually looks playful or bored.
