I've heard very little about this movie, only that it takes place on the Nisshin Maru a whaling boat, shot in Nagisaki Bay.
The original page for the movie on Bjork.com was so cryptic I could barely understand this progression.

Hi, I guess I goofed and posted in the wrong place. redface I saw half of the movie and I'm still not sure what to make of it. It was boring but visually beautiful and of course the music awes. Does it stay the same to the end? My server cut before I could see the rest. It is definitely a work of art and it seems Bjork and Matthew have infinite money and creativity to pull it off. xd
