Around the tenth or eleventh age, the World imploded. But the souls of Men haven't left yet, and the Elven Fëa are still hanging around, and even the hobbits seem to have found their way to this large...invisible....floaty...waiting place in the non-world. Even the Ainur are here, sulking in that dark little corner.
And even though Eru's true designs have not yet been revealed, all now know the major events in history, and the great names. (After all, Vairë is a terrible gossip.)
The only one NOT here, of course, is Morgoth, and that's because we like to exclude him.

I do not know. But it seems strange to me that this man is on a first name basis with my father. Not to mention Morgoth. o.o

and er...Melkor told Tom Feanor was attractive and he wanted to do... unmentionable things to him.

((And also, how does this make sense? xD I know Melly's coming, but why in this thread? It's an invisible floaty waiting place, all of the characters here are in spirit-form, and Melkor's not allowed. How would Tom know of him coming if there's nowhere for him to come FROM? And if he's not there at all?))
