You know what? We don't have one of these, and I wondered why. O.O! Here's a place for the players to meet each other, and hopefully make new friends. If you don't want to use your real name, that's just fine.
Hi, I'm Mari, aka Nenya. I'm 27 years old and was introduced to Lord of the Rings by my ex and I fell in love with it right away smile And then another friend suggested I read the Silmarillion because I loved the Elves more than the other characters and I did, and I loved that even more! xd
My hobbies are drawing, reading, complaining about work, playing online at work (>.>; wink fangirling stuff and I enjoy serious and non-serious role play. I have two betta fish named Feanaro and Arafinwe who love and hate each other and they are both over a year old! surprised I also love cats, though I have none at the moment. :3

I'm Alfirin IV, or Alfi, or whatever else. I live in Québec, and I'm about to go to University. I have one sister, no pets and way too many harlequin romances lying around.
I started getting into Lord of the Rings when my dad pulled out his french 1960s edition of the trilogy, which made me go look for them...in english. (Although it took me until the end of high school to actually be able to read all of them, because I don't have the attention span or the patience.)
I like manga, art, drawing and sweets, but my number one geeky loff is history.
I hate stupid people and bacon with an equally strong passion.

Hey everybody. I'm Laura, but my friends mostly call me Luthien anyway. I'm 15 years old (my birthday is August 27, 1991), and I'm currently a sophmore in High School.
I live with my grandmother and my father (when he's not in the hospital, which is about 50% of the time). My mother walked out about a month before my 14th birthday, and she isn't around much. I also have a brother (Jacob, just turned 10) and a sister (Heather, about to be 13). We have a dog (Dani, who we rescued from an abusive home when I was 7). I have a cat (Angel), and my sister has her twin brother (Eragon). My brother has a gineau pig, but it's pure evil and not worth mentioning.
I was introduced to Lord of the Rings when the Fellowship of the Ring movie came out, and fell in love with it instantly. Actually, I love pretty much anything by J.R.R.Tolkien or C.S.Lewis. I also like Harry Potter, and though I'm not obsessed with J.K.Rowling or anything, Remus Lupin is one of my favourite characters. Ever. Werewolves are my secret obsession.
I'm a Christian, and I attend a Youth Group every Wednesday night. I'm starting Driver's Ed tomorrow evening, and I love to read, write, and sing. I want to get my degree in Theology at Bethel College, and I want to be a singer and a speaker when I grow up, although I realize this isn't very realistic. Want to anyway.
Well, that's pretty much Luthien in a nutshell... xd

I'm Gussu.. most of you already know that.. I'm sorry. I'm 17 years old and am a Senoir at West High in Knoxville, Tennessee. (We are not rednecks.. well most of us aren't...)
I live with my father and step b***h mother. My real mother died when I was six, I wasn't told much about that really and being six at the time I don't have a great memory of it. When I gradute high school I want to get into an art school, preferably Rhode Island School of Design and pursue a career as a graphic novelist.
I was introduced to Tolkien when I was nine years old by my father who is also a huge Tolkien fan. I asked for a bedtime story and got The Hobbit XD he made me read the last few chapters on my own though, which I am eternally greatful for. I read Lord of the Rings when I was twelve right on the eve of the realise of the Fellowship of the Ring to theaters.
I have a golden retreiver named Shiloh. My hobbies are drawing, reading, and plotting deaths. I like Anime, fantasy, and multiple other things of the like. I hate people who netspeak.

Hey all. I'm Amy, but if you call me that online I find it weird, so please stick with Zabby. I'm 22 and this should be my last year of college. So if I start talking like this: 意味がない文 it's only because I'm feeling that my studies are useless and I need to do something with them. I usually avoid this though, as I consider it rude.
I was given The Hobbit my last year of elementary school but didn't read it until at least a year later (and then I think it was a different copy than the one I'd been given) and I read The Lord of the Rings over a three year period starting in 8th grade. This was all in California where my home is. I moved to Louisiana for two years when I attended LSU and I made a few friends there who had fallen in love with LotR and thus got addicted all over again. I actually started hanging out on the subforum during my second semester at UHM (where I currently study) because I greatly missed those friends. And now I feel like I'm going on too much again so I'll end with, "nice to meet you" to anyone new and "I've really enjoyed hanging out with you thus far and hope to continue it" to everyone else.

I'm Miriam, but prefer being called Nimloth in here and the subforum. I live in England near Bath. I have a younger brother and sister. I'm a Sixth Former/Year 12 at Warminster which means I'm 16. I've had The Hobbit for a while, but got into Tolkien when I read OFUM. Since then I've read the Silmarillion, LotR, Unfinished Tales and the Book of Lost Tales, and watched TTT and RotK. I like reading (anything I can get my hands on), languages, collecting rocks, jigsaws, visiting museums/castles/other old places, and Scottish history. I dislike people who l33t constantly.

Hai guys! domokun
I'm Devin, but people usually just call me whatever the heck they feel like calling me. xD I'm eighteen, I live in New Jersey, I was homeschooled until just about a year ago, and... uh... now I work! At home. Which means I have a ridiculous ammount of computer time. I'd say more, but Dateline says it's dangerous to talk to strangers on the internet.
I discovered Tolkien through my crazy aunt and grandmother. :D! They were really sucky people, but they had good taste in books. They gave me The Hobbit when I was little and then I moved on to Lord of the Rings on my own. When I saw the movies I fell in love with the story all over again, and so I read the Silmarillion and every other scrap ever published by Tolkien as quickly as I could.
I am a recovering Legoholic. I still have eight Legolas/Orlando Bloom posters on my walls, as well as about a dozen pictures ripped from calendars, but I've been doing my best to replace them.
I like books, music, tattoos, roleplaying, drawing, writing, fanfic, Fëanorians, and slash. I dislike scenekids and stupid people. D: omfg gtfo.
... And. That's Devvie! domokun Sry for rambling. I do that lots.

Hi folks, I'm Ithilvalan, more commonly referred to as Ithil. This moniker has been adapted to me even with some RL friends, so I find it a pretty useful way to get my attention.
I discovered Tolkien in 6th grade, after seeing the Fellowship of the Ring. I must confess that I tried to read the Hobbit in fourth grade, but after failing miserably vowed never to read Tolkien again. Oh, what a travesty and a lie. Now, seven years later, I'm completely addicted to the world of Middle Earth.
I'm fifteen, a junior in high school in the land of suburbia. Fingolfin is my baby but I'm also a fan of Annatar. And various other random characters.
I like reading, writing, video gaming, anime and manga. And music, I guess. And probably other things I can't be bothered to think of right now.
I can't stand bad grammar.
