OSS/CC. Ops Support Squadron Commander. I command about 130 cadets and report directly to the top dog (Group Commander). I'm #3 in the corps behind the Group Commander and Deputy Group Commander.

I was made Flight Sergeant temporarily when I recieved my Cadet of the Month award. I was only to hold that position for one semester, though. 3nodding

[Apoc] ^^ That's "Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge" for those not in the know. Thank you, sir! Sometimes I think the military has way too many acronyms. LOL.

I'm the platoon guide for 3rd platoon, and that's the third in charge of the platoon (Platoon=class period)

I'd be the Platoon Commander, which gives me authority over a whole 11 other people. I was just appointed last week, so I'm pretty new, and still learning all of my duties, but overall, it's definitely an improvement over having no billet.

Well, a flight is the same thing as a platoon for AF. I am not in charge of flights, as they are class periods as well. I am just in charge of anyone working in a certain number of job fields we assign. For example, I command those in Public Affairs, Fitness, Weather, Personnel, Financial, MWR, and Logistics. This makes up more than half the corps. The only people I do not have in my chain of command are those on honor guard, color guard, drill team, and awareness. The number of cadets in those positions is minimal, though. You usually aren't in that command chain unless you command one of those three in some fashion. Everyone else, as a general rule, belongs to me. So I am responsible only to a Cadet Colonel.

I'm a fireteam leader.. that's under a squad leader... but I suppose it's *better* than being an insubordinate...
I liked having nothing

Yeah, insubordinate means that you won't obey orders given to you by one of a superior rank. Subordinate means that you are of an inferior rank.
