i've got an iterestiong idea for a manga, but i can't draw redface cry . therefore, i have decided to ask u guys if any of u can draw. japanese style. paweese! i'l do whatever u want.

thanks, guys! well, the basic idea so far (it can take me years to fully flesh out a story; i've been working on one plotline for 5 years now) is that when the human genome project was completed in 1993, it seemed to fly off the radar. no one seemed to care. well, two of the scientists on the project had kept one of the genes a secret; they called it the archangel gene, because of what it could do. see, normally, it lies dormant in every human being. but when activated using a temporary gene therapy, it would transform the human into a superpowerful creature that lookes very similar to what we call archangels. one of the scintists took the information to the military, who created a secret unit of an untold number of people, who became a covert branch of the military (think superstrong ninjas with wings).

the other scientist, on the other hand, kept the information to himself. he created his own army of archangels, so that he could dominate all life. he used a different, more twisted way of activating the gene, so that his archangels would be permanent.

enter the hero: a young man who can activate the gene of sheer force of will ('course, he can't do it right away: he learns how to in the beginning). eventually, u find out that he is the decendant of the original archangel, Michael. it was michael who originally gave humankind this gene, by wedding a human woman early in human history. but the main character is the last "true" line of michael. the start of the first chapter is a flashback, showing the main character running. suddenly, there's an explosion behind him, and he falls, he looks back, and sees an archangel getting ready to attack him. out of nowhere, another archangel jumps in front of the attack, and is killed. the main character begins to run again.

one more character i need to mention is Hrist, the leader of the black wings (the good archangels have white wings, the evil archangels have black). at first, u are led to believe that Hrist was created by the scientist, u find out it was her that attacked the main character in the first chapter. so she can't have been.

oh, and in the first chapter, what happened was Hrist was attempting to elliminate the line of michael, so she killed the main characters mother, then went after him. the archangel she killed was actually the main character's father.

so, tell me: what do u think. any input is welcome, even if u tell me it blows giant flaming monkey chunks.
