Clue!
It's Clue! The classic Who-dunnit? Board game... Now in a new, sniperly internet-friendly version! Toastie wanted to bring a fun-filled game to the sniper game party for one night of entertainment and joy. So she did!
How this will work: We'll start off our first game with six contestants. If all goes well, it will be broadened to 12 for subsequent games. At the beginning of each game, Toastie will randomize one weapon, one room, and one sniper for the solution of the game. The rest of the weapons, rooms, and suspects will be randomly distributed to players via PM. They will be small images representing a card. The card images will change for each game.
At the beginning of a player's turn, they will roll two 6-sided die in the thread, and move spaces on the board. A new image of the board will be posted at the end of every complete round. If a player is in a room, they may make a suggestion to try and deduce the details of the murder with the following format:
"(name of sniper) with the (name of weapon) in the (name of room)?"
The room must be the room which the player is currently standing in. When a person is accused of being the sniper, they will move to the room that the accuser is in, and they will only be able to move 1/2 of their next dice roll.
There are also trap doors in each of the four corners of the map. When a player moves on top of a trap door, they are instantly transported to any of the remaining three trap doors on the board.
Once a suggestion has been made, players post whether they can disprove the suggestion or not, but do NOT post their card images. Only the first person to post will PM their card image to the player making the suggestion.
If you think you know the solution to the murder, you can make an accusation in the thread. A player making an accusation must state that they think they have the solution in their post. Once they've made an accusation, Toastie will tell them whether or not they're wrong. If the player is wrong, they will be removed from the game, their card images will be displayed in the thread, and gameplay will continue as usual.
Game Two
Sign-ups for game two are now in progress. We will have a maximum of 12 players, and a minimum of 6. For every player, there will be one weapon. So, if 12 people sign up, Toastie will make 6 more weapon cards, in addition to a suspect card for each player.
