Xine comes with meny distros' of linux it has many VideoAudio players based off of it (Such as Kaffeine And Totem Movie player)
Do you have the most updated version? Xine's Website is http://www.xinehq.de/
You will find ways to download it and extras
You can find a list of authers @ http://www.xinehq.de/index.php/authors
PS If you are having troble instaling the source files (it can be hard) Vendion's Easy Source Installer may help It worked on xine-lib for me biggrin

Xine is great I use its libs at Amarok and Kaffeine it is great biggrin .

and no I don't have the last version I have 1.1.3

No I don't have the latest version of Xine because that is incompatible with my DVDcss Network I have installed. But I do love Xine!

What is Xine my SUSE Linux 10.1 downloaded it and I can't access it entail I've finshed downloading it but i have not seen a resion for it when i don't know what it is.

Xine is a media engine good for playing both Audio and Video. Along with Xine comes the libXine, and dvdcss, needed to watch DVDs on your computer, and a lot more

I've actually never used Xine.

Been using mplayer for as long as I can remember and its always done the job well for me. If anybody has any screen shots of Xine I'd love to take a look at 'em.

Hmm, Unfortunately whenever I try to install it from add, I keep getting the message that my computer type isn't compatable with it (I use a Dell Inspiron 531, with an AMD Athlon 64 bit processor)
