The United Wrestling Federation (UWF), owned by NASCAR driver and SPEED broadcaster Hermie Sadler announced today the signing of Amy Dumas, formerly known as "Lita" during her days in the WWE, to a contract for selected dates during 2007.
"This is another example of our commitment to bring the very best in professional wrestling to our fans, which is what they are accustomed to", stated UWF President Hermie Sadler. "We are excited to have Amy as a part of our company. This will be great for us and our fans." The date of Dumas' debut will be announced next week.
The UWF currently has tickets on sale for its first two shows of 2007 that will take place February 2 in Wilson, NC and February 3 in Wilmington, NC. Talent featured for those shows include Team 3-D, Scott and Rick Steiner, and others.

United Wrestling Federation announced today that they will be adding matches featuring six of the top stars of Wrestling Society X to their upcoming shows March 2 in Gainesville, GA and March 3 in Chattanooga, TN.
WSX debuts on MTV on Tuesday, January 30 at 10:30 PM. These star studded UWF events, which will also feature Amy "Formerly Lita" Dumas, "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner, James Storm, and Petey Williams, will be the first time these WSX stars appear together since the show's television debut and mark the first time many of these stars have ever been seen live in Georgia and Tennessee!
UWF president Hermie Sadler is eager to see the WSX stars and likes what they will add to UWF live events. "We pride ourselves on providing a little something for everyone on our shows and to bring the next generation of pro wrestling stars from WSX on these shows will certainly enhance the events. We look forward to what they will bring to the show!"
For now, the WSX stars will only be on these two UWF events, but the
relationship could grow into more as the UWF develops a relationship with
Big Vision Entertainment, the world's leading distributor of independent pro
wrestling DVDs and the creators and producers of Wrestling Society X.

UWF as i heard so far is doing good. Hope they have a show on Long Island.
