I'm a huge horror movie fan however I'm rather picky when it comes to what I watch. I like Trillers and suspence over gorer anyday. Splatter is right out for me. I need something to scare me and at the same time make me think so it make it hard to please. I actually studied film for a few years and got into movie make up and the like before moving on to anime/manga more intensely

Here are a few of my favs.

- Evil Dead 1&2 & Army of Darkness
- Identity
- Saw
- Child's play (would you beleive we went to see "Seed of Chucky" near Christmas LOL)
- Candyman
- Hellraiser 1 & 2
- The Eye (shudders)
- Panic Room
- Puppet master (still need to see more)
- Session 9
- The thing
- Whispering Corridors
- White Noise
- The grudge
- Ghost ship
- Sleepy Hallow
- From Hell
- Polterguist
- In the mouth of Maddness
- Creep Show 1 & 2
- Tales from the Darkside
- House
- Deamon Knight
- Arachnophobia
- Warlock 1 & 2
- The craft
- 13 ghost
- Them
- The others
- The Village - First movie Kim and I went to together
- Constantine
- Flatliners
- Gothika
- house on haunted hill
- The Twilight Zone
- Willard

I know there were more I just can't think of them all. There are way to many bad horror films out there to do a search online I'm finding *sighs*

Ooo Scary movies are just the best! I agree with you though to be SCARED is alot more fun then to be GROSSED THE HELL OUT! I'm done with this new fad of flash gore torture films.

I'm more of a zombie flick chick heres a list of swell movies to give a whirl if ya'll haven't already

Shaun of the Dead- Comedy/Suspence/ZOMBIES!!
28 days later - Awesome movie
Silent Hill - Just came out, pretty good except for a f-ed up ending
Resident Evil- The 2nd sucks in my opinion
Night of the living dead - The 1990 remake version!!
Dawn of the Dead- 1978 version, much much more scary then the remake
Return of the living dead movies 1 and 2 the other 3 are CRAP
Slither- lol! awesome
Vampire VS Zombies
Uncle Sam
Video Dead!
Pet Semetary 2

Just a few to start, How cool would it be to wake up one day and find out that life has just turned into a terrifying zombie movie! WHAT would you all do?!

Heh, a couple silly horror films I watched when I was around 13-16

The Stuff: A green ooz starts killing people rofl

Ankle biters: A true blue B movie about midgit vampires

The Zombie Cronicles: For some reason I was compelled to purchase this dvd, its another B movie that literally looks as if it were shot in a couple peoples back yards and then edited and spliced in a rickety van parked it a Walmart parking lot BUT! it was pretty entertaining in a few parts

The Surgeon: Don't know what it was about this movie, was pretty gory, crappy story line

Kadokawa Mystery&Horror Tales vol. 1-3: A collection of short stories that can range from demons and ghosts to gangsters and regeneration. There are nine movies total.
Tomoe: (I'm not sure on the spelling.)
Ghost Hunters: A film about a girl who is to terrified to leave her house and starts to experience supernatural events. Not terribly scary, more suspenseful with shock moments.
Stay Alive: (Creeped me out because my cousin tests video games.) About a group a friends who play a video game. When you die in the game you die in real life.
The Exorcism of Emily Rose: (Made me jump alot.) Based on a true exorcism.
Scream:(Made me laugh.) Basic psycho murder mystery. It had it's moments.
It:(I can only watch this movie with my friend Jasmine. She makes it so funny that I can't be scared.) This is the reason I'm scared of clowns. Darn you Steven King!
The Thirteenth Ghost(The nightmares I had because of this.)

Ah, Audition, I think I was dissapointed with this movie because I had heard SOO many things about it being hugely scary and the best horror movie ever, Finally I ordered it offline so I could see it and it was a major let down, sure their were a few gorey parts but all in all not that great of a movie

The Exorcism of Emily rose was a creepy movie, the whole...what was it... I guess sezisure like body contorition moments, weird

Stay Alive had a crap end that could have been SOOO much better
