Kina rolled out of bed, sighing.
"Still can't believe I transfered here..." she mumbled.
"KINA!!!" cried out a voice.
"What!?!?!"
"Get dressed, the ceremony is soon!!" cried Arietta.
"I'm going," Kina said, getting dressed and leading her younger sister down to the mess hall.

There was a huge fuss at the mess hall. Students were running around greeting old friends, or randomly claiming new friends. All in all, a rather lively place.
"Wait up, Luke! You're going too fast!" a voice came from behind Kina.
"Come on! I want to say hi to Guy and Van before homeroom starts!" came a similar voice, also behind Kina but much closer.
"Look out you idiot!" the first voice exclaimed before Luke actually looked in front, crashing into Kina.
"I'm so sorry!" Luke quickly apologized before he paused to stare at Kina. "Asch come here! Quickly!" he called before Asch stood next to him, both staring at Kina. "Aren't you...?"

"Aren't I who?" Kina asked, Luke and Asch. She knew them well but she wasn't letting them know that fast. Arietta smiled at them both before running off to meet with her friends.

Asch sighed. "You're Kina, aren't you?" he finally asked, Luke getting up and helping Kina up as he did.

Luke quickly hugged her. "Oh my god, it's Kina! We haven't seen you in ages!" he let her go. "How have you been? What are you doing here??"
"You're blocking the entrance, Luke." a voice said with a chuckle.
Luke turned to the newcomer with a pout. "But Guy!!! It's Kina!!"

"I'm the new senior transfer. Arietta insisted that I come..." Kina said after Luke hugged her.

Guy nodded. "Ah! You're the new transfer! I'm Guy Cecil, the P.E. teacher. A pleasure." he turned to Luke. "Have you seen Mish? We need her for the opening ceremony and she ran off before breakfast. Jade hasn't seen her either, but for some reason he's not entirely worried." he sighed.

"I saw Mish run out the dorms. I think she was headed for the school." Asch replied, earning a nod from Luke.
Guy quickly perked up at that. "Thank you, Asch! And move from the entrance already. Oh, and Luke, please tell Jade that I went ahead to the school in search of Mish."
"Okay..." Luke replied, watching as Guy ran out to the dorm. "Right. Breakfast!"

"Can I sit with you?" Kina asked, softly, slightly saddened that Asch hadn't said anything to her yet.

Asch smiled at Kina. "Sure. Come one." He followed Luke into the mess hall. "Oh, and, whatever you do, don't order the breakfast surprise. Luke learned that the hard way."

Kina giggled at that and smiled at him. "So, how's everything been?" she asked them.

Asch nodded. "Yeah. It's not like anything has really changed." he grabbed Luke's collar, pulling him in direction of a rather long table where a lone man sat drinking tea. "Luke, there's Jade. Hurry up and tell him so we can eat."
"Ack." Luke paused. "Oh! Right. Jade..." he went over to Jade. "Um, Professor Curtiss? Guy told me to tell you that he went ahead to the school to look for Mish because Asch said she went that way."
Jade looked at him. "Thank you, Luke."
"You're welcomed." Luke grinned, quickly heading back to Asch and giving a sigh. "Phew. I'm still alive."
