Bam! Bam! Bam!
"Hey! Lala!? You awake yet?" came from a navy-haired girl, shouting her loudest before attempting to enter her roommate's room. She didn't like to impede on another's privacy, and she wanted respect for it.
She waited a bit, placing her ear carefully to the wooden surface. Was her friend sleeping? Iz, the yelling girl, stood for a bit, waiting half a minute before groaning. Lala was probaly sleeping like a damn log again. The little girl could probaly sleep through a Tauros stampede if given the chance.
"Lala?! We need to get started on our journey!" Grey eyes rolled in their sockets as Iz proceeded to slam her head into the door. "Damn.."

"Naaaaaaaaaaaa!" The small girl awoke with a start, kicking off her blankets before hopping onto the floor. She was already dressed in her white dress and matching hat, sleeping in her outdoor clothing as to be ready when she left. She was excited that she was finally old enough to start her Pokemon journey, and very upset at herself for over sleeping.
Grabbing the necessary things she would need, water, food, and whatnots for example, Lala rushed out the door, colliding into Iz as she went. "I'm sorry I'm sorry! I couldn't sleep last night because I was so excited."

As that door open, Iz could feel herself fall forward... only to have the air pushed out of her by the little energetic thing. With a shaking hand, she placed it on Lala's shoulder, "It's okay... " the older girl paused, recovering her lost breath, "Got your stuff? Oh good. We can eat breakfast... I made some pancakes and the last bit of juice is on the table."
Ah, the beginning of a pokemon journey, how fun. Iz was planning on going on one before, but she couldn't leave Lala home alone... but now that she's of the right age and willing, they would be able to leave their small apartment behind as they travel Kyuuten. The navy-haired girl made sure that the apartment was ready to be left behind, making sure to use up all perishable food or prepare it for their adventure.
The girl smiled at her planning, backing up a bit to let Lala through.

"Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay!" Lala pumped her small fists into the air as she ran into the kitchen, taking her seat at the table. Waiting for Iz, she took this time to check her backpack, just to make sure. Food and water? Check. Pokemon supplies? Check. Pokemon? .... "EEEEK!"
Springing into action, the little girl dashed back into her room, pulling apart her dresser drawer. Finally finding what she was looking for, a sigh escaped her thin lips as she held out what seemed to be a necklace with a pokeball shrunk down as it's charm. "I would have been in deep trouble if I had left this one behind." Skipping back to the table, Lala poured herself a glass of juice before sitting down, taking that time to slip the necklace around her neck.

Iz smiled as she watched Lala's fleeting form, yawning as she made her way to the kitchen herself. The girl almost reached her destination when a rather loud yell was heard... then the sight of Lala running back to her room... then the noise of what a clumsy burgler would make in an abandoned house. The older girl sighed as she made her way to her seat at the table.
The navy-haired girl flipped the top off the 'Mrs. Mime's Famous Oldstyle Syrup' and poured a nice glob onto her stack of pancakes. She shoved her fork into the pile and began to cut a large piece out when she felt it. The gaze... of something watching her. Iz steadily turned her head to the side, slowly and steadily.. until she saw it. Well, not it.. but her. Yes.. her as in the first pokemon Iz got and the only one she has for a few years.
"Hey.. Terra... uh..." Grey eyes shifted to the plate of leftover porkchops, followed by a steady hand that gripped the edge tightly and brought it to the ground infront of the hungry Bagon.

Smiling, Lala started on her pancake, cutting in into a shape that resembled a sun flower. It was easier to drizzle the syrup on all the pieces. Quickly wolfing down her sugary snack, Lala picked up her dishes before dumping them into the sink. Stopping by to pat Terra on the head. "I'mma gonna go feed Houng now, okay? Come out and get me when you‘re done eating!"
She then proceeded to skip out of their tiny property, heading toward the single stable behind their building. The Ponyta let out a happy bray as Lala approached, stomping and dragging it's right hoof in anticipation of being fed.
Lala brushed Houng as she fed him his hay and oats. Houng in turn, happily munched on his breakfast, enjoying the massage the curry comb gave him.

Iz nodded as Lala left, returning to eating her pancakes at a steady pace. Terra crooned happily from Lala's pat, wagging the little stump of a tail. When Iz finished with her plates, she set them in the sink and began to wash them. Placing them in a rack to dry. "We will be gone a while.. so best to make sure we don't leave anything that can rot..." She dried her hands on a spare towel and grabbed her backpack, already packed with supplies prepared for over weeks. Iz took one look around their home, smiled, grabbed Terra, and left.
Green camo pants swayed back and fortch as the owner made her way to the stable, "Kay Lala, let's head out to Cove Town." Iz held Terra snugly in her arm as she waved a 'Come on' signal with her other. She turned on her heel and headed for the road slowly, making sure that Lala could easily catch up.

"Haha!" Lala unlatched the gate to the corral and then headed back to Hong. Jumping up, Lala swung a leg around her Ponyta's rump, landing squarely on his back. Clicking her tongue, Lala applied pressure to Houng's sides, causing him to trot, swiftly and easily catching up with Iz. "Hee, so where are we heading first?"

"Well.. the closest town... and the way to get there..." she paused for a bit, pulling out a map she stashed in a side pocket, "through Route One!"
