Ok I found a COOL looking konsole torrent program it is still at early developing stage but it is GREAT.
http://bitflu.workaround.ch/index.html

Sadly I'm not the owner. And I dont know the owner in person. but he made one cool program.

you can get to him trough telnet or Web. and I think that is cool because if you are somewhere far from home and you know you would like to download (DL) some cool new DISTRO or something razz and use it when you come home and you have internet there you can start DL whit your PC at home biggrin and I think that is great.

I use that at my work I really like it a lot.

So what is yours favorite torrent client and what do you think of this client biggrin

Looks cool I may have to try it, and to tell the truth I'm not to fond of torrent systems I prefer p2p with Limewire, that is until the Linux version messed up... stressed

i personally like to use Azureus, Because the interface is super easy and i learned to use it in a couple minutes .but what is really Cool is you can add music for when file and torrents are done so you are aware that something is ready for use. mrgreen

I use utorrent because it takes up little to no hard drive space and RAM, and my laptop is pretty old.

Another vote for azureus. Although I sometimes find that the java engine eats up resources with it.

I've been using ktorrent, and it's pretty good.
There is also deluge, but I haven't used that.

I also use Ktorrent, it has a nice UI, it runs quickly and doesn't slow down my system by much.

Deluge is kinda like an advanced torrent program for noobs. It has nowhere near the options or functionality that µtorrent or ktorrent have.

I originally used µtorrent with wine but it developed this weird habit of reloading the same torrents every time I opened it up...so I switched to ktorrent and have been very pleased with it. Some of the ways it works are different but I've adapted quite nicely to it.

Yeah, there was a missing dependency in the ebuild, I fixed the ebuild myself and filed a bug report:
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=419421
And I was actually able to upgade to version 0.15 just by changing the name of the new ebuild to monsoon-0.15.ebuild.

Okay, screw Monsoon, I just descovered Deluge and it is so much more awesomerish... it has lots of features and tons of plugins, you can even import 3 different types of blocklists (like PeerGuardian lists) and use them to block connections!

Anyway, it works really well and it is awesome.
