 Rengo purred as he moved through the grasses, not at all concerned he wasn't in his homelands and he was most certainly lost. Well, maybe it bothered him in the back of his mind but he seemed to be occupying the majority of it with his humming. His tail flicked back and forth and he had a little bob to his step, moving with his own music. He paused after a moment and his humming stopped, taking a long look around with his red eyes. He let out a long sigh, shaking his head softly.
He blew away some of the pink hair falling into his eyes and just giggled, spotting a butterfly floating past. "Oh, there you are charles. I thought I'd lost you." He purred out, following after the insect. His eyes half shut, his mind calming as he began to hum more. He wondered if this butterfly would bring him to others! He loved watching the butterflies in the Kusini lands. It was too bad Charles, the butterfly he'd decided to name, wanted to fly so far from it's home.

 What a marvolous day to be outside! Inoa thought as he meandered along, probably heading a bit too far away from the den.. In fact, he was even farther away than that time he, Ger, and Kenji went to send the talking rock on a vacation! It didn't worry him though. Nope, not Inoa. He bounced along, not a care in the world. He was following the sky, you see. He'd grown very interested in it since he stayed up all night watching it, and now he wanted to see where it led him to!
He was positive it would be a wonderful place, filled with bright colours and sparkling stars.. And probably other animals who also wanted to know where the sky went! He was almost positive that he'd meet a whole bunch of new friends! And then he'd go back home and tell his family about what an exciting time he had.
"The sky sure is long, though.. Maybe I won't make it the whole way before lunch like I thought.."

Rengo's ears perked and his gace came jerking down from the butterfly. Why was someone talking directly in front of him? "Wait! Stop!" He said quite suddenly, scrambling backwards as he almsot ran into... well, it certainly wasn't another lion! "You, hey.. hey! Watch out!" He said, though not meanly. He was just distressed and didn't want to be ran into.
His eyes had widened and he was trying to take the other in all at once. What was he if not a lion? Rengo had only met lions before. Well, maybe he could still have fun with this!

"What?" Inoa looked down, only to find someone right in front of him! He certainly didn't notice this guy before..
"Oh! I'm sorry, I was just following the sky, you see and.." Something clicked. He was watching the sky when all of a sudden someone was in front of him? Inoa's face lit up with glee. It had to be someone from the sky land, obviously! "Are you from the sky?" He asked, as if the question was perfectly normal and everyone went around asking others if they were from the sky all the time. Well, it was normal in Inoa's mind.

Rengo blinked, glanced from the sky to Inoa, and then a devilish grin flickered over his maw only to be replaced by a more friendly one. "Duh, Don't I look like I'm from the sky? Of course I came from the sky!" He made sure to make himself sound a bit offended, as if the other should have know that. "My name is Mirengo, call me Rengo if you with, cutie." He purred out and winked, grinning widely. He didn't really know what flirting was, or that you weren't supposed to do it with boys. He just watched him mom and dad a lot, and decided that it creeped other boys out when he did simular things! So he did them, because they made for good laughs.

Inoa was beside himself. Someone from the sky! He met someone from the sky! He could've started jumping up and down right there, but decided to conatin his glee. "What's it like? Is it a lot farther? I'm trying to go there, you see. I was on my way when I ran into you! Are there a lot of others like you there? Do they all have pink on them? A lot of my family has purple on them, you know. Me too."
He stopped to catch his breath. This was just so exciting that he couldn't stop the questions from coming! "I'm Inoa'po. But everyone just calls me Inoa.." ...Cutie? What did that mean? And the purring and the winking? This must be some weird sky custom.. "Um.. alright Rengo. ...Er.. cutie." He managed a rather pitiful wink. He sure didn't want to disrespect this sky lion!

Rengo burst out laughing, never in all his antics had anyone returned his gestures. "Nice to meetya Inoa, and uhm... nope sky lions have all sorts of colors! Just their manes though, they're all colored the same as me." He gestured with his paw, wiggling his white toes.
"So... what exactly kind of species is your family then?" His head tilted and then he coughed. "Oh yeah. Well it's actually really hard to get there. It's a lot easier coming down from the sky, really." He was making it up as he went along, obviously. "Lots of places have invisable staircases. They're only invisable to nonsky dwellers, of course. I can see them." He puffed up his chest, realizing what a good job he was doing at this story!
"So the only way a nonsky dweller can get to the sky lands... is by an adults back of course! They sprout beautiful wings, you know."

Hm, he must've said something to make this skylion laugh.. Oh well. He sat down and anxiously listened to everything Rengo said, believing each word.
Wait, what species was he? ..He didn't really know. "Um.. well, my mother's a lioness.. But my dad's a leopard.. Oh! But I've got another brother who's all big and yellow and is a lion, too.. He doesn't really look much like my other brothers and sister though.. Oh, except Kohaku. He's yellow, but he's like me, not a lion." He smiled. Hopefully they weren't worried about where he went right now..
WAIT. Invisible STAIRCASES!? The sky world was SO COOL. "Can you point at where one is!?" He asked, nearly jumping out of his own fur. This was even BETTER than the time that rock talked to him!
But then his face fell a bit. He can only get there by an adult? Aww..
Oh well.
"Tell me more!"

Rengo made a face, looking confused. "That's cool I guess." He didn't know what a leopard was. "My parents and siblings are all lions. Er, skylions anyways." He grinned again, he couldn't get over how funny Inoa was. Did he actually believe him?
"Er... I could point one out... but I don't know if you'll be able to feel it." He raised a paw and pointed to Inoa's right. "It's about thirty paces that way." He better not be asked to go up it or anything. That would make things complicated.

Never could he guess when he got up this morning that he'd end up meeting someone from the sky. This was the coolest day of Inoa's life!
And to top it off, there was an INVISIBLE STAIRCASE TO HIS RIGHT. "Are there a bunch of stars there? I love stars. I sat up an entire night once and just watched them.." He trailed off, gazing in the direction of this 'staircase.' The world sure was full of crazy and wonderful things..

Rengo yawned and sat himself down, tail flicking back and forth until it curled around him. "Yep. When it's night time all the stars are everywhere, it makes it very hard to walk." He grinned. "Maybe one day you'll be able to see this place." Rengo was starting to feel bad, he ususally didn't make up stuff. And he was actually getting to a point where he wanted to travel to this skylion land!
