I've only seen him on the american version of bleach. i havent watched much else..but he seems cool...i guess.

I think he's really vool and he's real fast. He is overprotective of Rukia though but I guess it's okay knowing he's keeping his deceased lover's will.

Well he doesn't really want her dead. He has a reason behind why he was letting her go on with the execution. You'll find out soon enough in Bleach. I don't know how far the American Anime is at the moment, but its in the manga too.

The American version is up to 32 I think and the Japanese version in America is up to 124. I have been following the Japanese. Byakuya is awesome and is zanpaktou is really pretty! I also agree that even though he is letting the execution go through...that he still feels a sense of brother like quality and wants to save her.

He is a man who keeps his word and doesn't like to brake a promise, he made too that he said he would never break and had a hard choice by trying not to break them when it came to rukia. He really does love her and would protect her with all of his might.

Byakuya is pretty much the best character in Bleach. He cares only for what needs to be done and i think thats cool.
