I don't know how many of you attend Anime North, but after much discussing with the convention I have agreed to return and host a 2 hour panel with video clips. A lot of people were disappointed that I quit again, so I thought I'll tell the shoujo-ai fans that the shoujo-ai panel is back. I hope to see some of you at AN this year. Only if I lived up north in Canada, I would probably go to Anime North. Unfortunately, I live in southern California. I'm just starting to plan to go to AX this year.

Izumi Ako-chan Only if I lived up north in Canada, I would probably go to Anime North. Unfortunately, I live in southern California. I'm just starting to plan to go to AX this year. I'm going there too.

Toronto's a little far for me to get to, unfortunatly. sad Especially since AnimeNorth is always during school...
I don't suppose you'd come down to NB to do the pannel at Animaratime? LOL!

LOL! I'm sorry, I used to travel to cons all around North America, did 6 cons one year and nearly collapsed, I can't do that anymore. To much going on in life with my novel writing and married life. I wish i could make it to more, but it is too much stress. Sorry. Kat

yeaa!!! Pannel at north!!*squeels happily* Through...despite the fact I like girls more then guys...I'll prolly be spending all my time in the yaoi room^^*dances* I'm there for all 3 days so if youre doing a pannel for all 3 days ill come check it out.wheee!!

This is [~fallenangel~] turned ~vampires~curse~ I'm only going to be there for one panel for 2 hours on Saturday. I was offered to host an entire weekend but after the way most of the yaoi north kids treated us I don't want to be around the entire weekend again. I got hit with a paddle our pride flag was insulted and some of the girls called us disgusting. The heads of Yaoi North and AN are trying to figure out how to fix things, but I'm not sure there is much that can be done so working for 3 days there is nolonger in the picture. I've hosted lectures at AN for 8 bloody years. I took a couple years off and could not beleive how ignorant people were. *sighs* Makes me sad. ...o,o I figured it was in Canada. sweatdrop I doubt I'd be able to go...but I do get out of school the 18th... I suppose it'd be troublesome to travel there for a two hour stay...

Speaking of which is there anyone else in this guild going to Amecon in England, leicster this year? Just want to know because there as yuri panal last year and it was irratating since one of the people was completely wasted.

Actually, I didn't check for one there last year.. Maybe there was one. I think Erica Friedman had her panel there. Yeah she was there. I used to work with Erica and Yuricon. I was the creator the mascot art that was used for several years before being changed and was a GoH at the first Yuricon. We did alot of conventions together, Shoujocon, Animagic, Anime North, Yuricon. It was great fun while it lated. I miss those days. Some of you might remember this peice: Yuriko with LoveAnd here are the other pieces I did for them. Yuricon poster galleryI was asked to return this year, but with life being so hectic I had to turn it down. I'm only able to show up at cons in Toronto now because that is where I live.
