I'm currently looking into Dr. Brassard for a metoidioplasty. He does his practice at the Montreal clinic in Quebec. Aside from high prices, I feel that he would be a good option for me. I want to get surgery in two and a half years, providing I can afford it. But is that too soon? I just started taking testosterone at the very end of November. I'll have been on it 6-7 months prior to chest surgery. I'd be getting a hystorectomy in a year and a half. I know every guy is different, but I don't want to hinder possible growth after a year or so on testosterone.

There really isn't a set time, really, but you do wanna give yourself a chance to grow (which is part of the point of the meta). Personally I would recommend being on T for at least a couple of years, just to give yourself something for him to release, although you prolly won't have full growth until 5 or so years on T.

Sorry to spam your thread with a stupid question - but the inner d**k can actually grow in a timespan of around 5 years? I thought it did the 2-3 first months after starting T, then stopped. It actually can keep growing?

It absolutely can keep growing, for several years after you start T. I've been on it for 1 year and 8 months, and I know that even in recent months that I've had some growth. I'd wait for at least 2-3 years, if I were considering such a procedure.
I know for a lot of us, there's emphasis on how OMG I WANT IT NOWNOWNOW, but this is something for which we must be truly patient.

Two to three years sounds realistic. I'm trying not to be too "OMG I WANT IT NOW" however I'm finding that very difficult. Now I feel very silly for asking what I'm about to ask however I'm curious, and this seems the safest place for me to ask it.
Vaginectomy. I hear you can have a complete or partial vaginectomy. I haven't found what the actualy differences are. I'm wondering if it's possible to at least have a vaginectomy done prior to a meta, without hindering results?

Well, I believe that they use portions of the vaginal lining for the urethral lengthening in a meta, so if you were to have a vaginectomy prior to a meta, this might be an issue.

Yeah that's very true. That's why I was curious about the partial vaginectomy and what that consists of.
