BOOOOM!!!!!! The loud explosion rocked the city. The massive explosion shattered the windows of the buildings surrounding the now burning partly demolished building. People jolted awake out of their deep sleep as the sound of the explosion was loud enough to be heard as far away as Metropolis. Kyle Caine jumped up out of his bed and ran to his five story high apartment building window. He pulled back the curtain to a large mushroom of smoke and debris. "Oh my god!" he yelled. He stepped into the closet and pulled away the carpet to reveal a hatch with a combination and key lock on it. He stood up and reached into one of his shoe boxes and pulled a key out from under a number of papers. He stuck the key in the keyhole and put in the combination. He swung the heavy hatch door open and pushed a button on the inside of the hatch door. A mannequinn (sp?) rose up out of the out of the ground. There was a black costume bearing the outline of a white foxes head on the cheast. He suited up and went back to the window. He opened up and without thinking twice ran through the open window and jumped over the balcony. Another small boom not even a fraction as loud as the explosion sounded as Shadow Fox's rockets on his boots sent him flying at incredible speed towards the explosion. In a few minutes he was at the scene of the explosion. What was just a quiet night had turned into a disaster. People were screaming and running away as a huge piece of the burning inferno of a building that had once been the gigantic Gotham Museum smashed into the ground. He landed on the ground and ran into the burning building. He covered his face with his arms as a beam fell from somewhere above him and crashed into the ground sending a flurry of ashes in all directions. He was about to jet to the top when he thought, Not smart. He made his way up to the second floor using the stairs. He surveyed the area and noticed a guard trapped under a beam. He ran over to the guard an lifted the beam and tossed it to the side like it was made of cardboard. "Are you okay!?" Shadow Fox yelled. "I'm fine!" he yelled back. "Are there any other people in the building!?" he asked. "Yeah! There are guards stationed on each floor!" the guard yelled back. "I don't have time to save them this building is already coming down!" he yelled over the roar of the fire. Dammit! he thought. I can't save them all! I need some help! (Sorry it's so long I was just tying to really set the scene of a disaster)

((Gah! My apologies, gentlemen...I've been so busy trying to find all the threads I'm needed in. Taking on Batman is a big responsibility. Darn you for giving it up, Grayson...))

"Right here." came Batman's voice from beside Gordon. "What seems to be the problem?" he asked, stepping aside to avoid getting knocked over by a person who just jumped out of one of the building's windows. Batman stared at the woman for a few seconds, then popped his lips. "You know, besides all that."

((LOL now you know why I gave him up...maybe we should create a Batman timeshare program!))

Robin was right at Batmans side keeping silent as he had been trained to be when Bats was talking to Gordon.

He looked around at the firery debries falling around...his mucles tensed ready for action.

(Commmisioner Gordon got a radio call)
What!!
Batman we need your healp some of the boys got traped inside the building and there is still peoplein there

Gordon took some antiacide bottle that was on his gaberdine and give to it a good drink with the other hand on his phone he kept wating for a signt, demands anything!!)

The smoke was stiffiling as Robin burst into the building....the heat was intense...Robin quickly jumped to one side to avoid a falling beam....he sqinted looking around..then took off up the flight of stairs.

"Hello....I'm here to help!!!...is anyone still here!!" he shouted

Robin heard a faint voice and followed it to a blocked doorway.

"Montoya!!!..is that you?" he shouted and tried shoving against the large beams that were blocking their exit....he strainted under the weight and felt the flames of the fire licking up behind him...this room was about to catch it.

Robin grabbed a small explosive out of his utility belt and stuck it in the crevice.

"Montoya!!..get as far away from the door as you can!..I'm going to try to blow the debries with a small explosive."
