I've been sorta on and off of here lately and I've started to wonder if anyone else who has like 3+ characteres would say they specialize in one class or anything like that. For example I've played al least one of each class....that being hunter, ranger and force, and I'd say I specialize at least a bit in hunters. What I mean by this is has anyone tryed to memorize the attack patterns for weapons and know when to cut a combo short to dodge or stuff like that. And if you do specilize what kind of things have you learned from it? Just wanted to know.

Man, that's a mouthfull. Uh... where to begin?

I don't specialize in any particular class because I have 3 of each class. Overall I've had a character of every class except for a FOnewm.

If you cut short attacks in combos I'd suggest if you must bail out, stop after the second attack. Usually you get less recovery time after the second attack rather than the first or third.

As far as I can tell it's not difficult to use any class. Rangers have an easier time with so many ranged weapons at hand.

Eh yeah sorry kinda started and got a bit carried away.
And about the second attack thing, I've noticed that too...does it apply to all weapons or just some.....for me it's mostly with swords.

Now that I think about it, guns are the only weapons that have the same recovery the whole time. You can bail out at any time with a gun.

Heh well that's good to know....though I don't use guns very often....just the mechs on my hunter.....and the recovery on those is always pretty bad....not horrible....but yeah.

Well, if it's any consolation, Handguns have the best recovery rate of any gun, possibly of any weapon.

I don't know, being unarmed is a severe disadvantage online. Enemies have greater tech resistances online. Besides, even offline it doesn't hurt to have a weapon with a FOnewearl since their casting speed is unaffected by weapons.

I USED to know what enemies were weak to what techs. Online vs Offline is different. In episode 2 online and against bosses I've found myself testing each element to find what works. Grants was useful against Vol Opt v.2 offline but online it does less than 60 damage to him.

Yeah the tech resistences do go funny like. And from up above the base tech resistences are easy to memorize.....but then episode two in general is odd....but yeah just get worse from there.
