In a feild where there are trees and a small lake waites Rai for the match that he has asked. "Why oh why did I ask Manndar to fight?" He wonders aloud. "Oh well. No use crying over spilt milk. Now spilt blood that is something to worry about." He says as he sits down at the base of a tree and pulls out his book to read.

Rai looks up at manndar who is standing while he is sitting. "I would have to say that that depends on how you look at it. To me you are up, but to that tree you are down."

'Now here is the problem.' thought Rai. 'If I win then well it could cause some problems in the power strcture in the guild but if I dont win I wont feel good. Hmm...' Rai though this all as he stood up. He then activates his eyes making clones almost useless. He would be able to tell them apart form the real ones thanks to his abilty to see heat. Rai starts to make seals for his favorite jutsu.

"Ok. Just if I win I dont want the Kage position. You can keep it. I am happy being where I am and well, The only thing I want is to be ANBU." Rai says as he finishes the seals. (He was sealing slowly because of his thoughts.) "Smokescreen Jutsu." He says as the smoke comes and envolopes them both. Rai then moves into the smoke towards the right, Manndars left.

Rai is thrown into the tree line by the force of the sonic blast. "Well this might not go at all like planed." Rai said moving from tree to tree tring to get a good shot at him. "There." Rai whispers to himself as he throws three needles towards Manndar there aim true. And with as small and thin that a sonic blast might only deflect them.

"what the f--" Rai says as he starts to fall as he goes down and lands trapped beneath the tree. The next second smoke starts to rise from where Rai should have been.
The real Rai was standing behind another tree tring to think of a way to get at Manndar. "So that is what took him so long in getting here. He was getting the feild set up the way he likes." Rai says softly. "But HE should know that I also have plans of my own." Rai says pulling out a kunai and throwing it across the center of the area. The kunai's aim is too high to hit Manndar.

As the kunai falls to the ground it explodes and starts to shower the area in shards. Rai then, having been moving to the area he needed to get to, cuts a thin thread that Rai had set up. Dozens of needles start to come down at Manndar but they are raining at him from the sun. In other words Manndar might now be able to see them until too late.

Rai ducks and swings his trench knife at Manndar's leg that he is balancing on. Rai is also getting ready to attack with the kunai that is in his other hand.
