In order to teach understanding
You must understand
In order to teach love
You must love yourself
In order to have friends
You must be a friend
These truths are things that cannot change
As time pass slowly on by they stay the same
Unyeilding to the course our times and ways
Never once breaking
Never fading
How I wish for the same of my own self
How we all wish to be forever going
But only the truths can stay immortal
Not even God himself is as old
Nor are the Olypimian gods
But if I could have one wish to become truth
It would be this
In order to be strong
You must be weak
In order to be wise
You must forsake accepted wisedom
And of all things this should remain true
Power to destroy is nothing
Power to hold back is everything

I like it, it flows well and has a good message.
A lesson i think everyone can learn from 3nodding

This poem it well written,the flow holds up their aren't any breaks in it. I like the ending it's got a punch without taking awya from the rest of the poems importance.
