The Demons use them as a way to power their magic abilities, with all the mining of these Crystals, they’re becoming harder and harder to find. Demons are coming into human territory to steal their Crystals and Humans are doing the same. A great war has broke out between the two races and the supply of Crystals on both sides are depleting fast.
A legend passed down over the centuries tells of six Great Spirit Crystals that will grant unimaginable power to those who posses them. The ones who are lucky to collect them all will be able to turn the tides for their side and destroy their enemies. The new purpose of the war is to find these six crystals, but the Spirits residing in the Crystals refuse to be found by just anyone, they only appear to the people (or demons) that they feel are worthy of their power.

2.) Relationships can happen
3.) You can have up to two Great Spirit Crystals, but you must say how you found them
4.) You can’t just take someone’s Crystal, you have to PM them for permission and whatnot.
5.) Leave no one behind, PM them if they’re not responding
6.) Not everyone can have a Crystal, but you can eventually acquire one, if/when I say so
7.) If you’re a human, you can only use magic if you have a crystal. If you’re a demon, you can use magic whenever

Background: for a demon, he’s very quiet and distant, the demons in area he lives in mistreats him so he lives on the border of the human and demon territory. His father was a great demon and controlled the wind and lightning, when a young human girl wandered into his territory, he saved her from being killed. They fell in love and eventually had Kosuke, as his father aged, the demons he ruled revolted and killed him. He left his Crystals to Kosuke and the spirits told him he would be one of those who purify the world. Though he is unsure what to do with his power, either help the demons who killed his father, or help the humans who hate his kind, he knows he’ll do what the spirits asked. His problem is, that for one week out of every month, he loses his powers and becomes a human. Though his fighting barely falter, he’s no match for demons in his human form.
