Avista, a Kingdom known for it’s use in Magic, has a curse on the Royal Family. Every 100 years, a male heir is born with a very unusual birthmark; a sun with a small black dot on it. Over time, the dot grows and eclipses the sun, when that happens, the curse is revealed. The Prince becomes The King of Pain, an entity that will bring about great pain and suffering and (depending on the type of the mark ) the end of the world.
But, this time around, the Royal Family gave birth to twins. One had the mark and was treated with great care, in hopes that a kind heart raised in a kind home would prolong or even stop the process. The other, however, was neglected and grew up with a great amount of hatred toward his brother and anyone who loved him.
Now, the Marked prince has left the Kingdom in hopes of stopping the break out of his powers. He is not alone in this, he has two companions that seem to care a great deal about him and they’ll do anything possible to help him.
But, the fallen Prince, has practiced and mastered the art of black Magic. With his dark powers, he plans to take the life and powers of his twin brother so that he will finally get the respect he deserves. Will the Marked Prince avoid his destiny and break the family curse? Or will the Fallen Prince take over and destroy the Peace the marked One fought so hard to protect?
Roles:
Ragnarok: after he was born and the mark was found on him, his parents named him after a previous event that nearly destroyed the world. Though, he is nothing like the previous marked ones, because of his parents care for him, he is incredibly considerate of others and will help anyone anyway he can.
Though he was raised in a loving and protective home, he was a bit rebellious and spent his time in the city outside the palace walls. There he helped many people and made plenty of friends...that is...until they saw his mark and realized who he was.
There are some who remained his friends though, the captain of the guard and his younger sister, because of their allegiance to the Royal Family, they’ve sworn to protect Ragnarok in his quest to break his cures...even though none of them really know how...Played By: Apocalypse
S’Ffaelen: the neglected twin brother of Ragnarok, his name literally means ‘The Fallen One’. He’ll do anything and everything to destroy his brother and his comrades. In practicing the dark arts, he sold his soul to become more powerful. He commands various dark creatures such as Soul Wraiths and many different demons. In his quest for ultimate power, he too has gained another form like his brother. Though it is slightly weaker. Many say he’s insane, and there is a good chance he could be...Played By:
Captain of the Guard: the powerful leader of the King’s army, his first duty is to protect the Kingdom. He’s traveling with Ragnarok only because his sister said it was for the good of the Kingdom and to Clear their family’s name. Treason against the Royal Family runs through his blood, so, he may have another motive in following the Prince...Played By:
The Captains Sister: about the same age as Ragnarok, she’s like the Royal Family’s healer/mage. She specializes in light, wind and lightning magic and she’s very good at it. She’s following Ragnarok for two reasons: 1.) She wants to protect the kingdom she loves so much, even if it means leaving it to do so. And 2.) She’s secretly in love with Ragnarok and will do anything to stay by his side. She’s a little too shy to reveal her feelings, but she’s swore to herself that she’ll tell him someday...Played By:

power: Since he is the Marked One, he's ahas a number of powers, though his control over fire is his favorite
personality: given the home he was raised in, he'd a very caring young man. he thinks the best of everyone, even those who threaten and hate him. he's very protective of the few friends he has and will do anything he possibly can to make sure they're safe. though, because of his fate, he is a little distant and can often be cauht staring at the sky for reasons unknown
Background: when he was younger, he found it odd that he was treated well while his brother was pushed aside and nearly forgotten. he thought that, maybe, sneaking out of the palace would give his brother more attention, but that never worked. everytime he went missing, they'd send out huge search parties until he was found. once again, they ignored his brother.
palace life was really never for him, no matter how often he got what he wanted, he wanted to work for it and he enjoyed watching how others outside the palace lived. while outside the palace, he wore a cloak to hide his identity, and bandages to hide his mark. though people soon grew to know who he was and they feared him. he knew the only way to protect the people he loved was to leave the kingdom and find a way to break his curse. he knew it would be a long, lonely journey and he was happy when the Captain and his sister agreed to come along.
he swore that he's end his reign, no matter what his destiny is.
