It was an epics tale: a battle for the planet's survival.
The sprawling metropolis of Midgar had become the worlds center. Mako, a seemingly unlimited source of energy, supplied power to everyone. This energy source was developed and monopoliized by an entity known as the Shinra Electric Power Company, which covered the surface of the planet with energy distribution facilities called Mako reactors. Shinra had grown into and malevilent industry with the incontestable economic power, as well as a tyrannical hand in politics.
Unknown to most, mako was the source of all life on the plant- the very lifeblood pulsing through it's veins. As mako was pumped from deep below the planet's surface, the world slowly crept towards it's imminent demise.
Cloud Strife, a mercenary formerly of Shinra's elite SOLDIER unit, agred to cooperate with Avalanche, an anti-Shinra group established by Barret Wallace. However, Cloud could never have known what awaited him on his journey- his lost past and a crule fate for the future.

Aerith Gainsborough: A girl with the blood of the Ancients running through her veins, who Cloud cloud never forget (DIE DIE DIE!!!! Oops did I let that out?)
Red XIII: The last member of a race that lived alongside the planet and protected it with pride.
Cait Sith: A fortune-telling robot whose true identity was Reeve Tuesti, a spy from Shinra.
Yuffie Kisaragi: A younge ninja gathering materia to restore her homeland to it's former glory.
Cid Highwind: A renowned pilot destined to be the worlds first astronaut.
Vincent Valentine: Whose body was twisted by a mad Shinra scientist and made to sleep for 30 years.
The hope and dreams of this stalwart band came together and escalated into a battle against Sephiroth, a man intent on destroying the entire planet.
Sephiroth, once a member of SOILDER, was a legendary warrior who also served as Cloud's inspiration. Created through Shinra's Jenova Project, his power greatly surpassed that of any mere human. At one time in history, he was revered by all as a hero, but on the fateful day he discovered the secrets behind his birth, he set the town of Nibelheim ablaze and dissapeared without a trace. As he vanished, he vowed to one day become ruler of the planet.
Several years later, he reappeared and initiated his plan to summon a wayward star from the cosmos and smash it into the surface of the planet using the ultimate destructive magic: Meteor. Aerith learned of the danger to the planet and prepared to use holy, a sacred magic of the Ancients, to stop Meteor. However, she was felled by Sephiroth's blade.
Overcoming sorrow and despair, Cloud and his comanions finally managed to defeat Sephiroth. but Meteor already hovered close above the planet's surface. The land screamed in agony as cities were slowly torn apart. In the midst of the chaos, Aerith's dying prayers were finally answered and Holy rose against the wicked magic. However, it was far too late, and nothing cloud be done to stop the awsome strength of Meteor. At the moment when all seemed lost, the Lifestream appeared and sychronized with Holy, enveloping Meteor along with the entire planet...
Three long years have passed since the events of that day.. (okay so in the book it says FF VII but I wanted to change it.)
Meteor had left a tremendous scar on the plant. The once green land withered and the radiant light of Mako vanished. The calamity known as Meteorfall would never be forgotten by anyone who lived through that fateful day.
In the midst of this tragedy, people worked to help one another, and the world slowly began to rise from the ashes of decay and decimation.
Just as things began to stabilized, an ominous event transpired in Junon. In the course of a single night, a large number of people dissappeared without a trace. News of this mass dissappearance carried swiftly across the globe and spawned rampant speculation.
Around the same time, in the city of Edge, eerie rumors passed through the streets. Rumors of screamed echoing from nearby Midgar, night after night.
At the heart of Meteors attack on the planet, Midgar has sustained the most damage and was no longer a place for man to dwell. However, records were uncovered that led many to believe that people had been left behind in the city. Television crews and volunteer organizations sent in rescue teams, but not a single person returned...
Kalm located to the east of Midgar, also sustained major damage durning Meteorfall, but had managed to recover- thanks to the effort of it's people. Plans for a large celebration were underway.
Vincent Valentine is summoned to the celebration by Reeve Tuesti, an old comrade who fought by his side threeyears ago in the struggle against Sephiroth.
As festive participants fill the streets and celebration envelops the town, a mysterious group of soilders attack without warning. People all over the town are gunned down or captured by these unidentified invaders. Vincent bears witness to the tragedy unfolding around him and leaps into action. What he doesn't know is that these soilders are also looking for him....

Now because during the game you only play as Vincent it would be hard to involve EVERYONE at every second, so that's why we are doing this OUR way. You don't have to play it like the game. Characters can meet at ANYTIME and are free to go and do as they please. All we want it to try to stick to the main storyline. Not perfectly but keeping it as the main adjective.

Originally a gun-slinging member of the Turks, back in the day's when Shinra Electric Power Company was known as Shinra Manufacturing. The mad scientist Hojo transformed his body into the aberration it is today. His long slumber in a coffin below Shinra Manor came to an end three years ago, when he was awakened by Cloud and joined him on his quest. The main character of Final Fantasy VII, Cloud grew up with Tifa in Nibelheim. He aspired to become a member of the elite Shinra group of Soldier and be just like Sephiroth. He failed in his mission and met Zack. Him and Zack were with each other for a while, going through many hardships until they got to Midgar. He then joined a group called Avalanche who rebelled against Shinra. His rival is Sephiroth and his main goal is to destroy him. He holds a giant blade at all times and is strong enough to be able to swiftly move the blade. *OPEN*

Tifa grew up with Cloud, they were close at times, but a lot of other boys were around her most of the time so they could never really get together. Yuffie is usually the first secret character you encounter. Found in most forests, you can encounter her even before going to Junon for the first time. She was raised in Wutai, where she became a mischievous thief and left Wutai to try and find materia strong enough to save Wutai from the tourism that Shinra had brought. It gets very interesting when she first returns home with Cloud and the group. *Open*
Barret Wallace

Bio:
Barret was born and raised in the mining village of Corel. When Shinra wanted to build a reactor there, the people refused but had to accept. When Shinra believed that the people were abusing the reactor, they set out for destruction. Barret lost his right arm in a skirmish with Shinra troops and after that, he had a gun put on the arm for his revenge on Shinra and started a group called Avalanche which was hell bent on destroying Shinra. *Open*

Reeve Tuesti

Bio: A former ShinRa Executive of the Urban Development Department, Reeve is now the leader of the World Restoration Organization. The organization's aim is to help society live better lives and heal the broken planet's environments. Just like in Final Fantasy 7, Reeve takes control off Cait Sith, a robot modeled off a cat. The player at some parts of Dirge of Cerberus can play as Cait Sith. Cait Sith is the only other playable character rather than Vincent. *Open*
Shalua Rai

Bio: A scientist working for the World Restoration Organization, Shalua Rai is Shelke's older sister. She has a prosthetic arm and has lost her right eye. Her ties with Svet are personal, Shalua is trying understand the connection between them and Omega. *Open*
THE BAD
Hojo
Age: Deceased
Bio: A mad scientist who has no troubles sleeping at night. He conducts most of all his research on alive human beings. When Vincent heard that Lucrecia had become another one of Hojo's subjects, he confronted Hojo. Yet, the conflict ended in Hojo shooting Vincent and started testing on him as well. Hojo makes an appearance in the introduction of Dirge of Cerberus, but Vincent realizes he is just seeing things that aren't there. Or was he ? *Open*
Wice

Bio: A mysterious and fierce man, Vice, is the leader of the elite group called Svet. He also commands the Deep Ground Soldiers. All Vice's followers are afraid of him even though they have never directly interacted with him. He is referred as 'the Immaculate Emperor.' Vice carries two katanas with rifles equipped within the swords. It's very similar to Squall's gunblade. He wishes to unleash the Omega Weapon, but to do that he must find the Ancient Materia. His motives to bring destruction upon the world are unknown. *Open*
Azul

Bio: Azul, the Cerulean, is a member of Svet, the elite branch of the Deep Ground Soldiers. At first, it seems like Azul was running the show, but he is just muscle for Vice's biddings. His loyality towards Vice is unbreakable, just as Azul is a strong foe with Shield Materia in his hands. He has the ability to turn in a four-legged beastly creature and carries an enourmous tank cannon. Azul is commonly seen with Shelke and has a small appearance in Before Crisis. *Open*
Nero

Bio: Nero, the Deep Darkness, is a member of Svet. He has his face covered in bandages and darkness runs through his viens. His mechanical wings, let this darkness soar through the sky and enables him to use dark portals. He will do whatever it takes to meet his personal agenda. *Open*
Rosso

Bio: Rosso, the Crimson, is a member of Svet. She is beautiful woman with red hair and red clothing. Rosso's weapon of choice is a double bladed weapon. Her lust for killing seem to meet no ends. Oddly enough, she loves rain, even though she lived underground for three years. Rosso aids Vice in the search of Omega. *Open*

Name: Shelke Rai

Bio: A member of Svet, Skelke is a young girl with amber-colored eyes. She is helping Svet in the capture of Vincent, who apparently is needed in Vice's plans of awakening the Omega WEAPON. Her real power is the Sensitive Dive Network, which enables her access to any computer in the world. Her older sister is Shalua Rai, a World Restoration Organization scientist. *Open*

Lucrecia Crescent

Bio: A ShinRa Scientist, Lucrecia worked with Vincent's father, Grimoire, on researching the planet and the Lifestream. Vincent's job as a Turk was to supervise his father's laboratories. Here, Vincent met and fell in love with Lucrecia. When Grimoire died, Lucrecia started to distance herself from Vincent feeling that she was to blame for his father's death. She took comfort in a fellow Shinra scientist, Hojo. He began the Jenova Project and wanted to study the effects of Jenova's cells on an unborn child. Lucrecia, pregnant with Hojo's baby, subjected herself to experimentation. It ended with her falling ill and dying at child birth. *Open*
