okay, this story is based twenty years after the story in the song of albion trilogy, if you have not read it i suggest you do, but if you havent here is a quick pronunciation guide, and a runthrough of how society is set up.
c = hard as in cat(never soft as in cent)
ch = hard, as in bach( never as in church)
dd = a hard th sound as in then
f = a hard v as in of
ff = a soft f sound, like in off
g hard as in girl (never soft like george)
ll = a gaelic distinctive, sounded as tl or hl on the sides of the tongue
r = rolled or slightley trille, especialy at the begining of a word
rh = breathed out as if h-r and heavy on the h
s = soft as in sin, when followed by a vowel it takes on the sh sound
th: soft as in Thistle (unlike then)

'o = long like in woe

ok, now the social structure, the ravens are warriors like all others born and trained to fight. the weapons warriors in albion use are spears and shields, and swords. the bow is not used, battle tactics like in old rome, including chariots and cavalry.
most people are commoners, live normally, mostly farmers, and craftsmen and the like, and live good lives.
kings in albion are chosen by deed, not lineage, and are chosen by the bards, particularly the lead bard of each land.
in all, albion is a good, yet hard land for people to live in.
a note on treasure: treasure in albion is denoted into three major varieties.
bronze is the lowest form, and widely distribited, silver, the next highest up and finnaly gold,. to earn varying degrees of wealth as a warrior is mostly from battle and achievments.

how joined the ravens: born in Dinas Dwr near the in the time Llew the silver hand, he was picked by Scatha, the warrior trainer to be trained as a warrior. in the midle of his Training, Bran Bresal himself was appointed to help train his group. Respecting and admiring the man who ha fought beside the cities king for so long, Ruan learned greatly under his care, much more ten those around him, and Bran took a liking to the boy. when the boy had graduated from Scathas school, and was to join a war band, he asked to be inducted into the Ravens flight, and knowing the boy well enough as an above average warrior, even for his age, he accepted the boy into the ravens. Having been admitted two years previosly, Ruan has been in several battles through his short time, and is an exceptional warrior.
