I appologise if this is out of line in any way, but i think we should promote the guild more, ( I appologise also, if there is another similar topic about this) I think we should go not only on gaia, but also Myspace, Mycrib, VampireFreaks, ect, ect. Thus not only promoting people to join our guild, but also, to Gaia itself. Sadly for the most part, only anime freaks, or people who know anime freaks, have gaia, or just people who stumbled by it. I think this would be a great service to fellow gaians, and we might get a few guild members out of it as well. Thank you for your time, -Kogasan

I have to agree. I would love more people to promote this guild, and Gaia itself. My only problem with that would be stumbling upon more and more unactive members. We want people, but people that will post. Advertising the guild and Gaia on other well used sites is a good idea. I could probably convince some people on Myspace and a few band fan sites to join Gaia, and probably a few poets to the guild via other sites. I'm just lacking time right now.
I would like it if we could promote the guild in the Guild Forum in community, but I was never sure what should be said about the guild. I won't be on for a few days, but if someone could give me what they think is appropriate to put for a guild advertisement, post it here and I'll get on with it.
Thanks much for your concern in the guild, Kogasan. You are not out of line in any way, and I appreciate your suggestion.

I don't think that promoting the guild outside of Gaia is very helpful. I'd rather you keep it within Gaia.
And I really don't think that promoting the guild will do much, if anything, to the activeness of the guild. You guys may not realize or notice, but we get new members all the time. It's the people, and the cycle, that make this guild inactive.
Some people only post on their threads, which makes others do the same. Some people may think, If no one's going to comment my poetry, why comment theirs? Then, because no one's commenting the other person's, that person thinks the same thing...and in the end, no one is posting anything cause no one else is.
If you want activity, you have to MAKE activity. Be courteous, drop a line on someone's thread. If you want someone to criticise or praise your work, do the same for someone else. Maybe just doing it for ONE other person every now and then will change it.
But doing nothing and complaining will NOT work. I promise you all.
Thanks for reading this...if you DID read this.

I must agree with Isis. There does seem to be a sort of sick cycle going with our guild. One member left entirely because no one would comment her. For one to gain recognition, one must recognize others first. We have to reverse the cycle that is hurting us.
On another note, I'm only able to post once a week. I use the internet at my parents' house (they moved out of my home and I do not have internet and I can't post at my college...won't allow posting on forums.) I will attempt to get what I can done while spending time with my folks, but don't expect too much from me.

I know, Yukiko. And I thank you for commenting on others. It's very appreciated, by myself, if not others. I'm sorry not many people are kind enough to comment yours back.
