Desero sat on the border of Reids territory and the open Pride Lands deep in thought. Things were changing so fast and soon enough he'd have a mother. All this time he thought he'd be happy to gain a mother but for some reason he was not. He...he just couldn't bring himself to be happy. Desero had grown accustomed to it just being him and Reid and well to have that change now was simply un-nerving.

"Whats the matter little one?" Abla asked coming up to him and wraping her paw around his body. "Are you ok with me being your fathers mate?" She asked. She watched as a few gazelle ran in the open far away, mabye the were zerba, she couldent tell from where she was.

"S...Siblings?" That was another aspect that he feared. For some reason he felt like he was going to be replaced. "Oh." he paws kneeaded at the earth beneath him.

"Oh." she said. "Don't worry you will be just as loved, time two. You will have little brothers and sisters that will look up to you." She Purred a little getting her hopes up. She wanted to have cubs soon. She loved having the little ones around. She licked the cub again. "You are and will be loved."

They'd....look up to him. Then...in that case he would have to push his personal feelings aside and be adult about this. Yes, thats what he would do. He'd protect them and teach them to fish as Reid had done for him. "I shall do my best to make them proud."

Abla smiled. "Don't say that quite yet. They are not born." She laughed. "So do you act like a cub or an adult all the time?" She Asked the young cub. he seemed like he had a lot on his mind.

"I uh don't really know. I mean I do indulge in some fun with Cygni and Altaria from time to time but for the most part I'm simply contemplative. I always have been since my arrival."
