"Corby... won't you listen to me?" Heather asked her annoyed pokemon, holding up what appeared to be his pokeball. He absolutely refused to return into it after he'd gotten out. "Sparkle's in hers!"
"Drowzee..." It stated as if this (even if she couldn't understand it) explained everything. He didn't like her and she ... well she was irritating and that was that.
"Corby! C'mon! Just get back in!" He was leading her to the beach.
The physic ignored her and waltz straight into the water, allowing it to cool his sore feet. There was no way in hell he'd start a journey with that brat.
Heather twitched. Some gift Pokemon he was. "Yah mom, he sure IS loving."

The trip had been amazingly relaxing for the young Guru, currently stationed on the beach with her Raichu tanning beside her...eating sunflower seeds. Giving a sigh as the crash of the waves against the shore was almost enough to soothe her into a deep sleep, yet hearing the voice of another close by it woke her up. Leanding up onto her elbows, Rosette glanced to the side to see a young girl and a Drowzee...one which would obviously not listen as he waltzed into the water without a care.
"Rai, Raichu." Her best friend said, looking to Rosette with an expecting look. "Do I have to? I'm on vacation!" She laughed, she knew that Raichu was right - she couldn't just let it slide. Throwing her incredibly long white locks into a ponytail, she rose from her blanket as Raichu followed - as he really didn't like to be alone. Approaching the girl, Rosette smiled and looked out to the Drowzee in the ocean. "I couldn't help but notice you're having some problems there, Miss?" She smiled, even though she was only 19 herself, with her position she was always polite to everyone.

Heather glanced up at the new trainer and backed up a step in embarrassment. "Problems? N-no... my Drowzee is just a bit... rude, is all." As she said this a wave of water came up and hit her directly in the face.
"Zee! Drowzee drowz" The pokemon pointed and laughed at his newly soaked trainer before lifting up another small wave with his powers and sending them at Rose.
"...-.- OK, I admit it. He's a problem. No matter what I do he won't listen to me! Corby! Cut that out."
"Drowz." An obvious 'make me' phrase. Bored of messing with them he turned around and went back to soaking his feet.

Raichu frowned as he barely dodged the water, growling as he wanted to go shock the water yet the soaking Rosette only laughed, patting his head. "No, leave it be." She shook her head, looking back to Heather. "It looks to me...that you might have gotten him as a gift, is that right? Pokemon whom evolve too quickly, are given as gifts when they are not infants, or simply have a bad attitude from an experience are the ones whom will not listen to their trainers." She glanced back to Drowzee, having two ideas. "Excuse me a moment. Raichu, stay here."
Walking down to the water, she walked in and knealt down to be eye-level with the pokemon; not wanting to look down on him. "Hello Drowzee, that was quite a impressive display of power you have there. Did your trainer teach you that, or did someone else? It seems to me that she does care about you a lot.." She spoke at ease with the Drowzee, hoping he would at least open up a little on what he found unsuitable with his trainer that he wouldn't give her the time of day.

When asked who taught him the display he'd just shown, he jutted a thumb at himself. He'd taught himself control having been perfectly happy in the wild until a few months ago. He'd gotten to level four by himself and he'd get to level 50 by himself. "Zee! Drowzee Drowz, Drow..."
He glanced back. She was looking him with a fairly worried expression. He snorted. Who cared? He gave the woman locking eyes with him a nasty look and looked away. "Hn, Drowzee."
The trainer sighed and sat next to the Raichu. "Hi... at least you're a nice Pokemon. I have an electric type too!" She pointed to a Pokeball on her waist.

"That is an impressive feat, I must say." Rosette smiled, she had seen pokemon get to impressively high levels on their own in the wild. However... "I have no doubt you could get to level 50 by yourself...yet if you trained with someone who loved and cared for you, I'm sure you would get there in half the time. Besides...she can't be all that bad, you could have gotten an irresponsible trainer who would never let you out of the pokeball...or made you fight without rest." She sighed softly, those people really ticked her off. "I mean, if anything, perhaps you could dignify her with at least a chance to show you how valuable she can be to you?"
Raichu smiled, his tail curling around his feet as he watched his trainer and the Drowzee. "Rai. Rai Raichu!" He nodded in agreement, looking over to her belt with intrest. "Rai?"

"Drowzee?" He looked interested now. Half of the time? He allowed himself another look at the woman on the beach. She did offer him food and the first night even gave up her bed for him.
A weird human indeed. He turned his head back to rose and lifted his eyebrows. "Zee, drowzee drowz..." With a defeated sigh he nodded. He'd give her a chance and only one chance.
The young trainer withdrew her Pokeball and tossed it away from the water. "Sparkle!" She called to the lampony that appeared in its place.
"Laamp?" It asked with a soft yawn and a stretch.

"Yes, Pokemon's power can double with the help of trainers. They can bring you to centers to help hone your skills, and of course can get you other pokemon to train with. You won't regret this chance my friend." Reaching forewards, she shook the Drowzee's hand before standing and excusing herself, moving back towards Heather. "Well, Drowzee said he would like to give you a chance. He really wants to train hard to become a high level Pokemon, so thats what he's asking of you if you're willing to accept to help him." She smiled, sitting down beside the trainer. "Also, the more you listen to your pokemon, the more you'll be able to understand what they're trying to tell you. He really is nice - his voice is gentle, yet proud." She mused softly.
Raichu tilted his head, scurring down to the water as he sniffed at the Lampony. "Rai? Rai!" He smiled, his tail flicking around in the air.

Drowzee stayed in the water and stared at his hand. Double huh? That sounded nice. He moved his eyes to glance back at his trainer and the woman beside her before staring at the horizon.
"Really? I didn't know you could talk to Pokemon like that!" She admited then smiled. "I just hope I do him proud. I want to be a Pokemon breeder! If he wants to train to be stronger I'd be more then willing to help though."
Sparkle knelt down and flicked her tail with a whinny, letting the sparks fly from her mane. "Laaamp! Lamp!" She liked this little Pokemon. She offered a few friendly sparks toward his cheeks.
