You polish your Nikes. You look forward to PT. You sing “Jodies” in the shower. You wear your uniform to church. You refer to your cafeteria as the "mess hall." You flank corners going to class. You flank corners going everywhere. You named your drill rifle. You can identify all military aircraft by their sound, but don't recognize half the people at your table on Thanksgiving. You've ever been pulled over by a cop and when asked how fast you thought you were going, you replied in knots. You get insurance for your uniform. You take better care of your uniform than you do your pets. You feel compelled to hang out with every military recruiter who visits your school. You give your older friends the "position of honor" when walking down the hall. You call your girlfriend by her last name. You refer to your favorite class as "Rot-see." You start putting everything in acronyms. You walk in-step with your ROTC friends. You walk in-step with your non-ROTC friends You have no non-ROTC friends. You tell your girlfriend’s mother “Yes, Sir.” You shave your head to look like the Sarge. You ask teachers if you can go to the latrine. You repeat the Colonel’s jokes to your friends. You don't know your best friends' first names. You get the urge to straighten the name tag of the kid scanning your cart of black socks. You shout “At Ease!” to your annoying brother. You keep calling your math class to “Attention.” You start using 2200 in reference to your curfew. You make yourself do pushups when you tell a lie. You receive more than 5 military catalogs on a regular basis. You have more than 3 military posters on your wall. You chant jodies on your morning run. You have military cadences on your MP3 player. You jump to attention when your alarm clock rings. You constantly check your gig line, even in civilian clothes. You forced your friends to learn military time You burn a copy of the Air Force Song (or whichever branch you are) to your favorite CD. You hum “When Johnny Comes Marching Home,” in the halls. You stand at parade rest when other teachers call you to their desk. You wear a bracelet that bears the initials WWSD (What Would Sarge Do). You set aside a certain portion of your allowance to pay for the flight caps you keep losing. You are annoyed by people who have obviously never heard of a gig line. And finally, when reading this list you realize, “Hey, I’M ALL that and more!”

To add to this:
You iron military creases into your jeans You say "Aye Aye ma'am" when your science teacher asks you to take out your homework (or sir, depening on your teacher's gender. Most obviously) You give long lectures to anyone who calls your cover a "hat" and then put them on your "hit list" You refer to your family as a "platoon" (or flight or whatever) and your mother/father as the "Platoon Commander" You participate in guilds like this. You recite your general orders and the chain of command in your sleep
