Commence Operation Pandion Haliaetus.

You four have access to M16A2's, M9's, and the Ultra AP. Keep in mind that the Ultra is still unarmed and acts only as armored transportation.

Entering the garage not long after his previous operation had completed, McClane was somewhat tired. In fact, the only real break he had got was the ride home in the Chinook. That is, if you don't count the time he took to help tend to Hicks's wounds.

Making his way to the Ultra AP, he checked to make sure everything was in tact from retrieving it. Noticing a few marks in the back, he let out a slightly weary, slightly annoyed sigh.
"At least the armor has been proven." He said aloud to himself.

Parking the vehicle next to the gas pump, McClane began to fill up the Ultra, checking over the L-85 he had been able to keep, considering his rank, from the previous mission.

Gazing longingly towards the door that led back into the guild, he awaited his comrades, yet at the same time, wished he had time to get more sleep.

Leora slowly entered the garage to see that McClane, a Commander who would be accompanying her and a couple others on their first mission, was checking equipment on the UAP.

The UAP, also known as the Ultra Armored Patorl, emphasizes high-output diesel power combined with advanced armor and a fully modern chassis. It takes the armor of an APC and mobility and speed greater than that of a Humvee, combining the two to form a great vehicle to serve Conflict in future operations. It seemed suitable for a battle, but she prayed that it wouldn't come to that. Even so, it apparently was nessecary risking lives so that they could retrive the Osprey for further uses. The fact that the Ultra AP was unarmed didn't make Leora feel any safer either.

Leora made her way over to McClane and gave a small nod. Knowing him, he could probably tell that she was nervous. However, that would not stop her from using her full potential of her skill. She had been studying many books of battle and practicing her fighting skills, so she was pretty confident that she was ready for anything. She suddenly noticed that McClane looked abnormally tired, no doubt from his last mission. She wanted ask him if he was ok, but she remained quiet.

She took a glance over the Ultra then turned to McClane. "Orders, sir?" she asked as she began to inspect and load her M16A2.

Eriku, suited up in her military uniform, bent down at the door to the bunk room. Kyo, here yellow-eyed cat, looked at her in frustration. "Sorry buddy, you can't come with me this time." She put a hand gingerly on his head and stroked his black fur. "Watch the guild for me." She gave him a playful wink and stood up. Kyo let out a small growl of annoyance, but then turned and leaped up onto the bed that belonged to Eriku and gave her a look as if to say "happy?". Eriku chuckled and turned to leave.

As Eriku entered the garage she saw Leora and McClane talking, she walked over to them, but said nothing. If there were orders to be given, McClane would be the one to command.

Sabeth entered the garage in a hurry. Morning Sir!" she said in a panicked voice as she hopped on one foot, tieing her large boot; she felt stupid. 'Ill kill her later.' she glared over her shoulder. She put her foot down and took a deep breath.

Now that all three of his comrades had arrived, it was time for McClane to get down to business. "I hope you all have had plenty of beauty sleep ladies, this could be a tough one." Cracking a small joke to ease any nerves, McClane winked at the girls.

Pulling out a piece of paper, he set it against a door of the Ultra, pinning it in place with his index finger.
"This, my friends, is what we're after."

"This is the V-22 Osprey. Those propellers can shift so that they point straight up, giving it the ability of both a helicopter and a high altitude transport plane." Placing the photo back into one of his pockets, McClane entered the rear seat of the Ultra. The vehicle had its seating set up much differently than most. Each of the four seats pointed in a different direction. The front, forwards, obviously. The rear was pointed backwards and the two side seats were pointed opposite of each other as well, giving the ability to see from all angles at all times.

From the rear seat, McClane could access the empty gun emplacement position, basically a round hole in the roof. Although there wasn't a mounted weapon on it, he would be able to fire his rifle from this position, giving the squad at least a little protection, and he wasn't about to have one of the others take this risk.

Poking his head out of the door, he spoke.
"By the way, I'll need one of you three to drive. I'll be piloting the Osprey back on the return trip anyway, so I figure that you better get used to it while there is minimal risk." It was a little different to be working with an all female team. McClane knew they would be just as, if not more capable than any team of men, but he was unfamiliar with any different reactions that females had to ground battle, considering he had worked with plenty of female pilots, and very few female soldiers.

As he reached to pull the hatch of the Ultra down over his seat, he glanced at Leora, slipping her a faint smile. He knew everything would be fine, it had to be. No matter how exhausted he was, he had to put everything he had into the mission for the good of the guild, and more importantly, the safety of his team.

Leora smiled back at McClane. As she jumped into the Ultra, she took a seat in one of the side chairs. "I'm afraid I’m not entirely trained in driving these sort of vehicles, sir." She looked down at her M16A2, she set it aside and instead, armed herself with a M-9. She was more used to smaller guns, but she still carry her rifle.

Leora was a little nervous, and hoped that she would remain at least a little useful on this mission. She wondered if her hacking skills were needed. For sure her fighting skills would be. She had also stayed up for quite sometime for the pass week, practicing her aim with guns. She would hate herself if she missed an enemy target because her lack of aim. One thing she also hated was not being able to help. Before she had been enrolled in C.O.N.F.L.I.C.T, Leora had been a timid girl who had been not much help while fighting Zurgs, but this time, now it was her time to fight.

She looked to Sabeth and Eriku. "So, which one of you guys know how to drive this type vehicle?" she said, almost worried. What if neither of them could?

Eriku nodded to McClane, closing her eyes thoughtfully. She made it her business not to forget anything during a mission, it could mean the difference between life and death. And she certainly wasn't nervous, she'd been doing these kinds of things since she was a little girl.
Turning to Leora, Eriku frowned. She was used to walking everywhere, maybe the occasional riding in the passenger seat, but other than that. . .
She chuckled. "I'd drive, but I got my licence revoked after I got into an. . . accident." Eriku emphasized the word to let her teammates know it had been anything but. She smiled at the memory; she had driven a truck into the side of a building when she was being chased by members of a deadly gang. It had saved her life, but in the process had broken both her right leg and arm. Unfortunate, but not fatal.
She shook her head. “I’d rather not though.” And with that, she got up and sat herself down in the chair on McClane’s left side.

"I would say I can drive.... But that would be a lie... I don't know how to drive one of these. You!" She said pointing to Eriku. "You could drive. I am sure he would stick for you." she insisted climbing into the ultra.

Eriku fidgeted. "If you insist." She didn't say it in annoyance, but she knew by the time this mission was up Sabeth would regret her nomination. Eriku moved from the passenger seat to the drivers seat. Turning back to everyone she grinned. "Hop in, and I suggest you buckle up." She doubted under calm circumstances there would be any trouble, however if by some chance they were ambushed while still in the veichle. . .

Leora gave a horrified look then passed it on to Sabeth and McClane. She mouth the words, may god be with us. She recalled the memory of witnessing Eriku's so called "accident" with the truck, and after seeing that, she had vowed right then and there never to ride with her again. Leora strapped herself in tight till her seatbelt was literally choking her then began to recite a small prayer. When she was done, she muttered under her breath to McClane and Sabeth. "Dear God and everything holy, please let us live to complete this mission." Leora already knew they were doomed and she was three seconds to volunteering to drive, even though she did not know how to drive these kinda of vehicle.

As the vehicle rolled out of the underground garage, McClane relaxed in his seat, closing his eyes. The directions to the base were displayed on the gps which was located on the instrument panel, so he didn't need to tell Eriku where to go.

He began to think about seeing Sorrow in the previous mission. Hopefully he could plan his missions a little better so the organization couldn't predict his next move. Although they did know he would be going for air bases, simply because those were the only ones he knew of, so these bases may be reinforced or at least warned. However, McClane doubted the organization would suspect him of attempting to acquire an Osprey, so they should be fine on this operation.

Turning his head a little, McClane opened his eyes. He spoke to Leora through a small opening that was in the wall that divided the seats.
"How are you feeling?"

Sabeth sighed an leaned her head against the back of her seat. Her belt was rather tight.

Eriku calmly steered the truck away from the guild, following the GPS instructions. She only half listened to the conversation McClane was trying to start from behind her. She leaned back in her seat, with hope the mission would go smoothly and there would be little or no casualties.
