Spirit
The year is 1912, and in the distant town of St. Mark, a series of inexplicable murders has just taken place.
On a cold winter's night, nine year old Elizabeth Cambell was found floating in the icy water of her swimming pool, her white dress billowing around her. Two nights later, eleven year old Emily Manning was found the same way.
After the deaths of the two girls, the town went into a state of depression. Did the girls commit suicide? Was it a simple accident? Or was it something else?
The people of the town, especially the families of the children, wondered if there was a murderer in their midsts. But, after a month long investigation and no suspect, the town soon let the mystery fade into the back of their minds. All evidence of the disaster was hidden from the public and as the years went by, the deaths became nothing but a faded memory, a bedtime story for children who didn't sleep.
Now, years later, the murders are back. Five people have been found murdered, each showing signs of severe frostbite, even though it is the middle of summer. Family members of the victims say that hours before the victim died, they described seeing a little girl in a white dress whose kiss was colder than death.
A group of college friends in pursuit of what really happened in the town have just arrived, only to find that no one will talk. As they delve deep into the past of St. Mark, they find themselves in danger as they realize they are next on the murderers list.
