I like Angel more.
Don't get me wrong. I've been a Buffy fan since Kristi Swanson. I was rather annoyed when the WB canceled the show like they did by making the writers kill her off. I applauded Joss Whedon when he brought her back on a different network. Those last couple of years were darker and sexier. Perhaps to a fault.
I think Joss used Angel to start over somewhat. Angel was able to battle evil on a worldwide scale somewhat and win in the end. It would be nice to know how he faired in that final battle.

I agree! Angel is one of the coolest characters but after watching the seris i am starting to think that he "broods" too much. lol But really the way he cares for his friends and the way he fights make him an awsome character! Not to meantion his alter-ego Angelus!

I pretty much hated Angel all through Buffy, since he was the angsty love interest, and he didn't mesh well with Buffy's personality. I didn't really like his character until that spin-off show, which was well-written. Of course, that show often portrays Buffy as a complete b***h, which is amusing.

Well, Spike had the most interesting development as a character, because he was constantly changing to fit the needs of the plot. Enemy to ally to lover. Angel was very static, and therefore, less interesting.

i've watched the show like 3 or 4 times... but i really like the show and i find it intresting.

i used to like angel in buffy, but then he got ugly in Angel...i do like angel more i think than buffy......i think rolleyes

I liked Angel better in his own series....I never really like Angel and Buffy together.....her and Spike are suited for each other

Angel was really hot for a couple seasons but then he got kind of whiney and boring and annoying. Spike is better just because he is badass. Plus the fact he does save the world in the end is a real big point winner. also Angel really broke Buffy's heart in season three.

No, she doesn't make an appearance, but she was supposed too - the funny thing, she couldn't make it because she was filming a movie in Vancouver at the time....crappy eh? It says that in the box of DVD from the Angel Series

I used to not like Angel but I've recently started watching it and I sort of enjoy it. o.o But yeah, he got really annoying after a while. v.v
