The Ruga Canyon region is simply that; The arena cieling is that of the mouth of the canyon. All combat takes place within the gorge. This battleground features a relatively high ECM level, due to the large amounts of sulfites and oxides in the air. Exersice caution when fighting.

yeah but if i remember correctly the ruga canyon has two parts there is the canyon and then there is the monorail and if the mission area is the monorail then fighting in the canyon below will result in a leaving mission area
returning to normal mode sequence
