~Basic Information~

It is possibly the most interesting and gentle of all the pathways into the gateway to hell, and from there, the entrance to heaven. Its name even reflects the soulfoul legend of Evengale.

Here is where the prosecuted flee. It is by no means the most perfect of enviroments. The land gets very cold during the winter and the shadow of the Tiswanu is always looming over. However, it keeps the woods cool during the summer months. For the most part, pines dominate this forest, with interspersed lakes, ponds, and small rivers. Towards the very end, near the coast, some oaks can be spotted intermingling.

The enviroment is not enough to support a huge population, but the wind dragons think it suits them rather well. It is here that they often come to nest and raise their young. They feel no guilt in leaving them here, because, for the most part, there is no real danger.

~Settlements~

There are a few minor villages and communities that have taken uproot in these mountians. They live mostly off the roots and berries growing, and keep their meat diet to a minimum. The majority of these are escapees of some large city who had condemned them to some poor fate.

Sometimes they will venture out to trade for necessary items, though they avoid this process when they can, sticking mostly to the oak ranges where the friendly atmosphere of the trees keeps them relaxed.
