I was wondering if anyone else has ever delved into topics related to parapsychology or psi. That means stuff like telekinesis or psychokinesis, telepathy, remote viewing, astral projection/out-of-body experiences... Well, I made technically my second psi ball ever a couple nights ago, and then made more the next day and night. When I've made one, I can feel this repulsion between my hands that I don't ever feel when I just hold them palms facing each other without thinking about making a psi ball. I'm so excited about it, because it's made psi a personal thing with me instead of remaining an obscure topic to read about. And it was so easy! o_o Edit: References PsiPog.netParapsychology FAQs

I really like the college studies where they have a blindfolded person at the end of a room by a window and then a gathering of people on the other end, where the blindfolded person has to state when they think the group is starring at them.
I tend to know when people are looking at me and its hard not to turn around and stare back.
I tend to flip tails more than heads but I think that's just something to do with my flip.
I also like the idea of a role-play where you take a bunch of people into a haunted house that somehow ends up amplifying their extra sensory abilities and of course it turns up, that they can see and sense the ghosts! Buahahahahaha!
Ooh how about that test that Dr. Venkman pulls on the college students with the cards by testing if positive and negative reinforcement will enhance cognitive abilities. Now that was a hoot.
I do believe people can affect the world around them in an extra sensory way, especially through group settings. Like for example, focusing on wanting beads to fall to a certain path, or the healing powers of faith.
It’s just a matter of finding out how to make it instinctive in a way much like when a pro tennis player feels out an ace.
One of the mini games in Mario World 64 for the DS is a Psi game. It shows you the back of these playing cards that sometimes have the outlines of what's actually on the card but most of the time you just need to guess for the card you want.
Your choices are between feather, mushroom, star, flower, and cloud. The game shows you each round which one you need to find. I made it through 25 rounds, whoohoo!
I also think there is more than just a familiarity bond between siblings, especially twins. Though I do think that this link in nurtured by being raised together.

Lorenzo: I don't think I could instruct on anything past psi balls. XD
Moleje: I heard about the staring experiment and how it seems to have a high success rate. 3nodding I don't think I can tell when someone's looking at my back, but I guess I wouldn't know since I never turn to check. I remember a mini-game sorta like that on Super Mario Bros. 3 for the original Nintendo, but I thought it was more like Memory. Ah, that reminds me of that phenomenon where two identical cells, or two halves of the same cell, when separated will mimic each other or something...Or maybe that's the same thing.

hmm... I totally like the "staring" test, I think I'll try that with my friends...or at least tell them about it. Most of the time, I can feel when soem one's staring at me, or like feel someone's presence. Like sometimes during class I look towards the door cuz it feels like some one's coming and some one either walks by or comes in to give the teacher some papers or something. It's sorta cool. So, now how do you do this "psi ball"?

The mini game from Super Mario Bros. 3 was definetly a memory card game. They have one of those on Mario World 64 DS aswell I think..and Luigi hosts it? Hrmmm or I could be utterly wrong. Anyways.....
I've always wondered, is there something to my being able to tell if there is a tv left on in a house on the salt and pepper or blank screen channel. *chuckles* Is it just a quirk or is just weird? Its like I hear the noise from the electircity and it makes my hairs stand on end but I'm usually to far away to be hearing anything.....?
Well it always bothers me and I have to go and turn the darn thing off.

animefreak: There're many ways, techniques, to make a psi ball. Basically, you think of an energy source (i.e. the sun, earth, people, food), imagine yourself receiving energy from the source somehow, and then condensing the energy into a ball between your hands. It's easier to make one if you are good at concentrating and imagining, and you have an open mind. Definitely don't doubt yourself. It's just a fun activity to do, and if nothing comes from your first try, don't be discouraged. You'll know you've made one if you feel your hands repelling each other as like magnets There are other signs. If you want more stuff on psi balls, here's a reference. (: I'll add it to my first post too. Click. Moleje: I know what you mean. I can hear the differences when our downstairs TV is on Video 1, muted and on a regular channel, or turned off. I'm not even sure if it's my sense of hearing that's picking it up. It's like an electrical buzzing/ringing in my head. o_O

The description on how to feel if you are making a psi ball reminds me of this thing I used to do when I was 6 where I would consintrate on my hand and it would feel like these little balls of metal in my fingers were swirling around... after awhile my hands would go stiff from not moving and I'd move onto how funny it felt to slowly move my stiff fingers....I was able to do that up untill I was ten didn't think about it for years and now any attempts I've made recently to imagine or feel the tiny metal balls in my fingers have come up with zero results.

I don't remember where I read this but it said that most para/psi happenings happen to children or around them. It said that it was because of their being more open to it and having more flexible minds then adults, like poltergiests are really teenaged girls going into/through puberty. Most of them late. Stephen King was right about that, I think.

It's sorta like when you close your eyes you cna sorta see it too...I don't really know how to describe it. It's not really rainbowy but it is. well yeah... stare

I am naturally a spiritual person, and like to experiment with my aura, mostly how it interacts with the surrounding environment. Ones aura is in essence their personal bubble around them, it is difficult to describe without delving into unknown vocabulary to most people.

They could be like what Kagenoku's talking about, auras. I can see auras if I stare long enough, but I'm not experienced in changing or even seeing mine.

I don't want to burst bubbles here but I hope Animefreaknva isn't talking about the rainbow swirls of light you get from oxygen depravation.
I don't think you can deduce auras over the net, in particular these find your aura questionnaires are to me asinine.
Mood rings are fun, but are not by any means accurate.
It is a gifted soul who can sense auras strongly or maybe instead burdened.

Auras are more felt than seen... Very dark places hold your hand before your face about a foot away and move it, and see if you can see the motion or not. I think it is an extention of the feeling sense mentally.
It also helps to be half blind as I am to "see things", Scientifically it is the use of the other sences to compensate for the falability of the other senses, but there is the other sense that has not been proven which is the subject of this forum.
