Hey, that mushieroom ain't too bad at all. biggrin ~ <3
But as I have mentioned to a few other members of the guild... remember to add shade to the base once you've put clothing and hair into place. Otherwise, the clothing looks very flat and not part of hte actuall doll.
Same for shading your mushroom. She'd be casting a shadow after all.
You also cut off her one ear with the hair.... but I truthfully think that the tip should have popped back out of hte frontal hair section... those are some BIG ears.... xD ...and I doubt that hair is fluffy enouh to truely hide those.
And without shading done on her antennae... I can't tell if the one is bent back or if it is just half the length of the other.
A really cute concept though. <33

haha Yea I meant for the antennae to be different sizes. Because they originally started out as wing enders - but I hated how they looked so I just flipped them and stuck them on her head instead x)
And I have NO idea how to do shading of a shadow on another color so I left it be until I found out how *found no tutorials so... -weeps-* But like I said before, I always keep backup bmp files in case there is an error - such as the "HOLY CRAP WHERE HAS HER EAR GONE!?" thing you just pointed out that I have no idea what happened xD

I need to improve with my wings in MSpaint. They're easy in Photoshop, but that's when I'm not using pixels or I feel like cheating. But I think I just taught myself how to do shadowing on a certain color that's already light xD

The wings and antennae do look sort of flat... but I'm not sure you'd want to take the effort of adding any shadow to it... though even having a bit of vein work in the wings would give it more demension than it has now. ^^;
As for shadowing things like the areas under the skirt and around hair and such... just use the colors given by the actual base... or double click on a color and try to create a slightly darker shade of hte skin in the create a color option pop up window. ^^;
You'll eventually get the hang of shading an such.
When I do wings, I always use the fill bucket. Doing the mid base color, then using hte line too to selecte where the shadow and highlights will be, then flood filling those selected areas in. After that, you can go in and spray paint a bit along those edges to give it a pixeley glimmery look. ^^

Yea I did that with the mushroom and tried doing that with the wings but I thing the area was just too small for me to really use the airbrush tool xD I'll go in again and try adding some veins right now n_n

I like this one a lot! I am a fan of the way you did the hair, uh huh. It's really pretty. And great mushroom, it's cute, and the top is shaded lovely. ^_^
