Biography

The Knife has been on many different battlefields for many different years, taking down many enemy AC's in the process. His career is virtually flawless, though he is a very mysterious character. He has little remorse for his enemies, and if paid to do a job, the job will be done, no matter what it is; the raven apparently having no ethical boundaries. His biggest client over the recent years is Neo America and he is registered there for his jobs. Not finding the arena very satisfying or useful, he will rarely be there unless it is for a grand amount of credits. Rarely does he show himself in public, usually leaving his image to other Ravens alone. His Armored Core, built entirely from scratch for him and tuned to the point where each part can hardly call itself by its originally designed name due to the amount of changes made by the Raven and his garage, strikes fear into many an enemy upon his arrival to mission sights. SHADOW GUARD, as it is named, is known to be one of the fastest Bipeds around being known to travel at 730 KM/H when fully equipped, and 750 KM/H when not. He uses a pair of custom made short-mid range rifles built off of the ASZAZ that fire incredibly fast, so fast in fact that they have almost the effect of a machine gun upon an enemy AC's Primal Armor. Equipped with shoulder mounted flash rockets he dominates the ground battlefield and is known to fair quite well with air opponents as well.

Tactics Include

Using his blinding speed, The Knife shoots quickly behind an enemy raven and opens fire, using his enhances tuning to manuever himself out of enemy sight and due to his years of experience has immense handling over his AC. No rooky to the fight, The Knife can also fight an air opponent, using much the same tactic but mixing it with his mech's strange ability to fly into the air for almost as long as a permanent flier can; something strong boostered AC's usually have trouble with. Using an experimental head unit that enhances speed, The Knife has one of the lightest frames available.

Squad Information

OBSCURUS ETERUM is printed in bold red letters around The Knife's Emblem. Rumor has it that it was his old mercenary band many years back, included up to four mysterious and awe striking Ravens, all having fittingly strange names; The Knife was the band's leader and tactical administrator while The Axe provided the part of Tank and was the most heavily armored. The Spear, who's entire persona was unknown even more so than the other three, usually followed close behind their leader and provided lightning fast support for him, and was known to mirror The Knife's every move in opposite fashion around a certain target with their custom tuned MOTORCOBRA Machine Guns. Along with air assault The Hammer was a lighter, more mobile version of The Axe's DREAD GUARD and sported reverse joint legs with vertical missiles attached to his back. Both of the ground Mechs, SHADOW GUARD and FAMINE GUARD, had flash rockets as extensions, while the flight AC's, both Permanent Fliers, DREAD GUARD and CHAOS GUARD used flares to stage off enemy missles from themselves and their companions.
As such it is figured that the four worked in pairs, switching from ground and ground to air and ground and mixing the two types of AC's together to form a web of different tactical manuevers.
Several years ago the other three Ravens went missing during a classified mission, while The Knife had returned with half an Armored Core left and had piloted his machine back home in critical health conditions. He never spoke of what had gone on during the mission, and explains simply that it was classified and he is not at liberty to tell.
