I do not belive god is real, i do not belive in any higher power of any kind, i do not belive that someone or something decided to create the universe so they did. I belive in the Big Bang thery that there was a huge explosion and within the explosion the universe was created not as ity is today but just as atoms and molocules witch grew over billions and billoins of years, and I belive that we are decendents from apes. I do hawever think that god and belife is a good thing, think about it this way lets say that tommoro scientists found irafutable 100% proof that god was not real, about 75-80% of belivers would still go on and live normal lives becaust they would not find that as proof. But the other 20-25% would most likly go mad or kill themself thinking that there was nothing to live for with their no being in heven or hell upon death most of them would give up people would go on rampaging through the streets their would be cayos and destruction. With the belife of god comes something else a concince of sorts, something people follow as of what to do and what not to do, alot of people are behaved and well mannered because of one simple thing. They dont wana go to hell, they live their life being a law obiding citasin and living a good life. But without belife without nothing to look forword to after death, the world would be in cayos the only reason people would have to obey the law would be because someone said its wrong or because they didnt wana get cought. I belive people who belive in god or some other higher power have a higher tendincy of behaving or at least lawabiding to a point. So i dont belive in god but without belife everything would calapse.

I do believe somone, or something created the universe. If we weren't created, and just happened on accident, our taste-buds would probably somewhere other that our tungues, like on our asses.

Tanks most people just stay away from the topic so nobody knows that they question their religion, but i don't question my religion at all i am an atheist and thats not gana change. I'm not gana try to hide it at all because i have no reason to if you think of me differently because of my religion then go ahead but I'm not gana pretend to be something I'm not just to make someone happy or to make them fell safer or more at ease or some thing. The only people who don't know are my parents and therapist cus I'm not gana tell my parents unless they ask cus i don't want to go to church cus thats whats gana happen if they find out and I'm not gana tell my therapist under no circumstances cus hes a preacher! so thats kind of obvious on keeping it hidden from him. I have actually lost a few friends cus I'm an atheist we were best friends then i told him i was an atheist and he hasn't talked to me sense except to make fun of me or some thing like that. So i don't care if your my best friend girlfriend acquaintance or stranger I'm not gana change cus i am who i am and thats not gana change for any reason.

Kay. I think I'm prepared to talk about this now, even if it somehow ends up in debate.
First of all, you should understand my background.
I'm what they call an Agnostic, because I refuse to say I have a religion at all..
I've already spoken with my mom about being a different religion than the rest of my family. She constantly is telling me that she accepts me for whoever I choose to be, but then turns right around and pressures me to go to Youth or church group. I mean, there is a fine line from accepting someone and trying to change someone. Sometimes I don't think she truely loves me with her full heart, because I don't think she'd be trying to change me if she did.
The persecution I have endured being an Agnostic, (which most people in the Christian Belt beleive is 100% Athiest), is similar to Jon's predicament. I think its the same for everyone else that has the courage to have their own of opinion.
Meaning Feh Meh is non-religious.
---------------------------------------------
Now onto the topic for a change.
I have my skepticisms about a god or any god being real. What about Zeus? I mean, what about freaking Nefertiti? They were praised, too! Beleived as goddesses and gods, but does anyone practice the Roman faith anymore?
No.
Why?
Because Catholicism and Christianity began to take over EVERYWHERE, and if you did not turn into that faith then they KILLED YOU. Sometimes I think its similar to what the "innocent" converters are doing in America nowadays, except they don't have the right to tie you up and shut you in an iron maiden.
I'm sorry if thats a little blunt, or too sharp a cut into the topic, but thinking too much about this kind of stuff makes me upset.

Sry i haven't posted back on this i haven't checked up on it in a while. Ive been thinking a lot lately about how other people act and think, and when I was a kid i just believe in god cus I felt that I was supposed to. Later in life about age 10 or so I started to actually question my so called "faith" and i started to actually wonder why and how people could believe in god. Because the biggest reasons i have for not believing in god are that first of all their are fossils that are millions of years old yet the bible says the worlds only a few thousand years old and that god put fossils into the rocks which doesn't really make since at all. But if you really wana see some contradicting facts on god and the bible and all you should watch the movie inherit the wind its about a guy who teaches Darwinism in a school and in their reality thats against the law so he goes to court. Its a fairly good movie with a majority of good points in it.

Yeah they try to put a few issues out there about the bible being wrong and all but in the end i bet you can guess who wins, well actually they make an indifferent win to where both sides remain about equal. But for the movie to be a seller they have to make the bible win of coarse.

I believe in a higher power. I consider myself Pagan only because I follow most of their beliefs. Also, I haven't done enough research on Paganism to truly consider myself one. But I definably know I'm not Christian or Catholic or anything like that. I just have too many issues with the bible. Some of that stuff is just nuts.

Yeah to me most of it doesnt make sense, Ive never read it but what ive herd is illogical and none of it makes sense to me. I really dont see how people belive it or why. I pretended I belived in it but I couldn't do it forever so finaly I decided I wouldnt pretended it. And when I finaly started telling people I was atheist a lot of my freinds stoped talking to me and I became an outcast whitch doesnt make sense to me. Why should you hate someone cus they dont believe in the same thing as you?

Sadly that seems to be human nature. We can't seem to be capable of breaking that cycle. Just take a look back in history, that's evidence enough.

Ya, its just sad how most people don't learn from their own mistakes. I don't just learn from my own I learn from my friends mistakes to. I watch what people do and say and a lot of it surprises me. I just don't understand how people can be so cruel to others cus their different. People where I us to live would bring me down to the point to where I would want to just go home and sry and... a lot of the time i did... I hated life there but I had a few good friends and they were the only good things in my life, I don't know what Id do without them.
