the Hufflepuff commonroom is reached by a hole behind a portrait of a skinny wizard. You have to tickle his nose to enter, and the wizard only lets Hufflepuffs and teachers in, unless you escorted by someone who is allowed in.

”They say that life‘s a stage;
So throw yourself out there and be loved for it.”

Giggles came from a fair-skinned young girl with dark hair and eyes. The feast seemed to have events all its own that had occurred, and though she knew she should probably be irritated right now, she didn’t catch the who or why but merely heard and saw small glimpses. And it was so fully! No..sunny? Aww, there‘s no way to combine funny and silly without making a word that already exists! At this realization, Jin was only giggling all the more.

Coming to the entrance to the Huff'Puff common room, she proceeded to tickling the wizard's nose. This, she decided, was also a word she couldn't create and began her giggle fit all over again as she walked in. Immediately she sat near the fountain, as it was her favorite spot.

Her arms wrapped around her waist as her face skin came to a light flush from the lack of air and she tried to get herself to stop giggling. "S..Stop..gigg-gglinggling.." Because she was giggling, she couldn't talk right, which was funny and made things worse. She could feel tears at the edges of her eyes from the laughter and the pain of it. She needed a good swat on the back right about now so she could stop.

User ImageRick strode with his long legs down the drafty corridors of Hogwarts toward the familiar portrait of a rather funny dressed wizard. ‘Like I’m one to talk,’ he mused, there was always someone who didn’t like the way he dressed. Rick tickled the nose of the wizard, a ritual which he had always found odd, if not amusing, and climbed through the whole to the Hufflepuff common room, decorated with potted plants and other woody elements. The whole room had a rather earthy smell, but in a good way; it smelled like Rick’s robes after he had just come back from Herbology and they had been working with some exotic flowering plant. But robes were the last thing Rick wanted to be wearing right now.

Looking at the emptiness of the common room, Rick wondered, had he been that far in front of the crowd? ‘Eh, whatever,’ which was his response to most oddities. By the time he came back from the his dorm, the room would be filled with people. He made his way across the room, and down the hallway with several doors leading to dormitories, just to the one labeled ‘Fourth Year Boys’. Once inside, Rick found his trunk quite easily. It was the only one with holographic Pokémon stickers on it. It took him only about two minutes to throw off his robes, remove his sweater, change into some black dyed jeans, and slip on his favorite white and silver Nike basketball shoes. He left his white collared shirt and tie on, but kept them loose.

Feeling completely renewed and much more comfortable, Rick returned to the common room. Only a few more people had arrived since Rick left; he shrugged it off. But a particular very giggly girl caught his attention. She was a first year last school year, it Rick remembered right. He walked across the room and gave the girl a couple of firm pats on the back; he had had a bit of experience in making people laugh, so he had to know a way of getting them to stop. Rick knelt in front of the girl and looked at her with a mixed expression of curiosity and mock concern. “I’m sorry but I don’t believe there is medicine for giggling fits.”

Jin watched as a few 'leaders of the pack' strolled into the common room, though there were few. Most seemed preoccupied in their own business, which was a shame because she really needed to stop giggling. Then again, it was most likely her giggliness that was keeping them at bay. After all, walking into a room where a girl is sitting on the edge of a fountain giggling her little head off would be quite strange to see.

Seeing someone stand near to her, she felt a hand firmly patting her on the back. This made her cough once, but allowed her giggles to cease. Smiling, she looked to the boy who knelt in front of her. I'm sorry but I don't believe there is medicine for giggling fits. Jin shook her head in an energetic way, happy this guy helped her out. "No, there isn't. I've looked." Her mouth tightened a little at the edges as she kept herself from having another giggle fit, barely.

Her hands moved from her waist and held lightly onto the edge of the fountain on either side of where she sat. She noticed he loosened his tie and slipped on some jeans and sneakers. He probably didn't like the robes too much. They could get rather warm sometimes, and fit in odd ways. "Thanks for helping a girl out. Sometimes I just can't control it. And I'm in one of those giggly moods today." Boy was that true. She'd been giggling practically all day off and on. Just randomly, like, something normal would happen and she'd burst out in giggles. It was rather annoying, really. "You can ask me for a favor any time."

User ImageGlad to see that he had actually helped, Rick stretched his legs out and stood up. He looked at her and laughed at her response. And, of course he noticed the smile tugging at her lips. He could tell she was about to laugh. In fact, he was a bit surprised when she didn’t burst into another set of giggles. Nevertheless, maybe that he didn’t have to save her again.

He smiled at her repositioning herself. ‘It must have been quite the fit,’ he thought as she removed her arms from being wrapped around her body. Deciding to reposition himself, Rick sat on the fountain next to the girl. He leaned forward and rested his elbows on his knees, so it was easier to see her. It was always better, in Rick’s opinion, to be able to see the person he was talking to.

“…And I'm in one of those giggly moods today,” she said. "You can ask me for a favor any time." Rick really didn’t think it was that much a of a big deal, but Rick wasn’t going to turn down a friendly offer. Plus, he was in a ‘whatever you say’ really mellow mood. “It was no problem really, but you can make your check payable to Rick Samuels.” He held his hand out for her to shake, and hoped she knew what a check was.

Jin watched curiously as he sat himself next to her. Now there were too people sitting on a fountain, what an even more odd looking situation. This time, however, she barely had an urge to laugh since she didn't really think it was too odd, so she didn't have to suppress anything. Thank goodness, maybe I'm done for today she thought with high hopes on her giggle problem. Maybe it was just the whole 'first day back' thing that had her going like this. She certainly hoped so.

Jin pulled her legs up onto the foutain edge and sat criss cross, doing a sort of balancing act that she figured not only was useful in this situation, but also somewhat entertaining and good practice if she ever decided to head back out into the world of music again. Which she was hoping she could very well do. She loved being on the stage and performing for people, but she loved school just as much. That was the only reason why she wasn't still doing it. That, and, the manager had been getting kind of odd, and everyone knew the group was going to have to break up or change anyway.

Jin tilted her head down and to the side a bit as she looked at him, ignoring the feeling to rock back and forth. She knew that doing so would lead to a dip in the fountain, and THAT was not something she cared for at the moment. ...but you can make your check payable to Rick Samuels. She wasn't too sure if he was joking about that or not, but she smiled a bit smile and shook his hand when he offered it. "Well, I'm not sure what you'll do with the muggle money while you're here, but sure next time I access it. Just be sure to recognize the name: Jin Soo Choi." She laughed again, but she didn't fall into a giggle fit so it wore away well enough and fast enough on its own.

She blinked for a moment as she thought, then smiled again. "Hey, you're the keeper on the Quidditch team! I knew you looked familiar. I'm trying out this year." Quidditch was just about an obsession with her, or almost so. It was the thing she liked most about being a witch was Quidditch. She was always trying to remember the faces and names of all the Quidditch players from all the teams, and considering they changed every year, it was a little difficult sometimes. But since it was only her second year, there wasn't a huge change up yet.

She felt so excited now, she was sitting next to their keeper! She knew the way she was acting was kind of like how someone would act around a celebrity, and she knew from experience that not all people really liked being treated that way. She still smiled pretty big and had a definite energy around her, but Jin was jumping around or using a special voice or trying to grab at him or anything. She just tried being as close to her normal self as possible. "So what's it like to actually be out there playing a game? And how does everyone play? Like, umm...like special things people on the team do, kind of like characteristics."

[[It's okay ^_^ I understand.]]

User ImageShawn Porter, NOT Porker!
”.Just because we're not all the same
doesn't mean you can make fun of someone.”

Shawn was glad to be back in the common room. He‘d always felt really weird tickling the nose of that statue thing. Didn‘t anyone else get embarrassed or just feel…weird about it? Probably not.. He‘d heard about Gryffindor‘s Fat Lady, and that she was really skeptical. Honestly, the Fat Lady scared him sometimes. She could be so mean when she wanted, though she rarely snitched on Fred and George. Sometimes Shawn found himself wishing that she would, just so that they would learn their lesson, even if it would be a temporary matter.

He decided he may as well get settled in now that he was here, now that he was home. Home he thought to himself. Last year it hadn‘t really been too much like a home for him, but he‘d adjusted by the end of the year. But this year Brianna was here, too, so it was going to be great! Embarrassing at times, but great.

Shawn went up to his room to go and dig around his trunk. He needed to get out of his robes. He never much liked wearing them, they just felt so…constricting of his inner self. Or something like that the thought to himself. He pulled on a plaid shirt and a pair of jeans and called it good, then headed back down to the common room, taking his sweet time in doing so. He was in no real rush.

Looking around, he saw some people chatting and catching up, some were already hitting the books. There were two others by the fountain, and he recognized the girl as Jin. At least there was one person to keep him from feeling alienated. He shrugged and found himself a chair to sit in and began to look around, getting used to the feeling of being back at Hogwarts again. It was strange, but kind of exciting.

User Image Luckily for Rick, the girl beside him (whom he now knew was Jin Choi) did know what a check was. She must have been at least half-Muggle. Rick always thought blood status to be a funny thing. ‘Muggles, witches and wizards are all humans, aren’t they?’ They were, so why had the magical community given non-magical beings such a funny pet name? ‘Muggle, Muggle, Muggle,’ Rick said to himself, and almost said it out loud (to which Jin would probably give him a very odd look, if she didn’t burst out in another giggle fit). So he stopped himself, almost laughing out loud too.

And suddenly the girl had become quite ecstatic to just know Rick and sit next to him. He was a bit flattered, but mostly surprised. Though Rick (who never took anything seriously) thought nothing of it. He simply answered her questions.

“Barrett can be a beast on the pitch; Andromeda looks proper, but she’s a fair player; Kenzie plays like a girl,” Rick laughed. He didn’t use the term to offend her in anyway, but she was a girl. “Mary’s a little devil, you have to watch out for her; Asia, our Seeker, she was built for speed.” Rick smiled. Being on the pitch with his team was so much fun. Rick never forgot that Quidditch was a game, though some people had to be reminded. “Quinton Zsar-bla-bla-blah (I never could pronounce his last name),” Rick leaned into Jin as he said this, in case Quinton walked by. “He’s our captain this year – he’s a mad man, totally crazy. But he is a great Chaser.” Quinton had rarely needed to be reminded that Quidditch was just a game, but everyone was upset when they lost, and Rick always got the impression that Quinton’s sarcasm level kicked up a few notches after a bad game.

“Anyway, good luck with that,” Rick smiled. He would probably be seeing a lot more of Jin this year. The only reason he hadn’t known her before was probably just the fact that Rick didn’t bother the 1st years – he saw no point in torturing them. Meanwhile, his classmates were probably telling the new kiddies about the pool on the roof. Yeah, the invisible, untouchable pool.

[[ we haven't had try-outs yet, so Jin wouldn't know if she was a reserve or not. I just answered as if she said "I'm trying out this year" ]]

Jin noticed more people slowly filling in and gave a small wave to Shawn. He was in her year and was really shy, the poor guy. She noticed that was always getting picked on, too, and felt bad for him. He was one of those people that really seemed to like his solitude. She remembered last year how he went on and on about his wonderful sister Brianna and how she was coming this year. Shawn was probably disappointed that she had ended up in Gryffindor during the sorting ceremony. That had to have been a real blow, but Jin was sure that between the sister and herself that Shawn would be doing much better at Hogwarts this year.

Jin was more than happy to hear him talk of the team and what he thought of everyone. She knew a lot of stuff already from watching last year's games, but she liked knowing someone else's opinion on the team. As Rick admitted to not being able to pronounce Quinton's last name, she giggled just a little and replied, "(I couldn't ever do it either)." She noticed that often times Chasers and Keepers were the Quidditch captains due to their completely offensive or defensive nature and they above all others, in her opinion, needed to know and did know what was going on during the game at all times.

She nodded and clapped her hands together as Rick wished her luck. "Oh I know, thank you! I'd be happy if I even make the reserve team. I had a little trouble last year so I asked Barret to help me learn to fly." And I've been practicing all summer in secret she thought to herself, hoping she could be a part of the thing she loved best about this school. About the whole wizarding world in itself. The never-to-stop action and thrills of it all, and being so high off the ground. It's something that if you drop your attention, you're in the hospital wing. It was something that gave her goosebumps as she thought of it, but in a good way. "I don't want to let him down after all he's done for me."

Jin pumped an arm into the air in her excitement, which through her balance off. And, undoubtedly, she fell into the fountain for a little bit of a splash. She sat there, blinking as she was now sopping wet. But instead of crying or getting mad, she merely laughed at herself. “I knew that would happen. I’m such a klutz.” She felt no shame in it, though she was now very wet and a little cold. She climbed up out of the fountain and stood on the floor, glad she had black robes and a vest over her white shirt and tie. Kept her from being see-through. She headed for the stairs as she decided she‘d need a change of clothes, but turned at the last second and said, “I’m trying for a beater position, though I was told I was too small for it.” With that, she headed up the stairs, leaving Rick and to do what he wanted so she wasn’t bombarding him with anymore questions or fangirl-ism.

[[Ope. My bad. ^^"" I changed it. Oh, btw, you put Mackenzie on there twice XD Did you mean Barret/McKay?]]

”.Just because we're not all the same

Beep-beep, beep-beep, beep-beep, beep-beep. Shawn squinted his eyes and shut them more tightly before rolling over from his side onto his back and lie awake. Slowly, through squinted eyes, he lifted his arm up to stare at the watch that had slid from his wrist a few inches down his arm. His watch was beeping at him the morning wake-up call. He continued to stare at it for a bit, the time changing from 7.:31am to 7:32am as he lay there. It always started when it said 7:30am, so it had taken him about a minute or so to finally hear the sound and wake up. “Ugh…” he swatted at the button on his watch to make it stop before it woke anyone else up. Sure, they’d probably want to get to breakfast and see their schedules, but he wasn’t going to be the reason for their rude awakening. Or so he hoped. Shawn didn’t want to start off another year like his previous with not only the Slytherins, but his dorm mates hating him as well.

He continued to lie on his bed and starting up at the top of it for another minute or two before moving his legs off the side of his bed to the floor to put on his shoes. He’d always change his socks the night before, here and at home. But then he remembered that he had to change back into his robes from his jimmies and so pulled his feet back out and stood up, knocking his head on the side of one of the posts. ”Ow.” He rubbed his head as he moved around the four-poster bed and got into his trunk from which he pulled his uniform and slowly but carefully put it on. He always ended up with that long, stray wrinkle running diagonally across the front, no matter how much he tried smoothing it out or how much his mother ironed it. She sometimes chided him for the always-existent imperfections in his clothing. Oh well, not much that I can do about it. he thought.

He raised his arms over his head and stretched them as he put a foot in one shoe, then dropped them and allowed them to swing about a little as he pushed his foot into the other before lowering himself to tie the laces. He took a quick glance out the window and breathed in, then out, staring at the freedom that was the outdoors. Sometimes he wished he were an owl. He really did. All the time in the world to fly about and do what you wanted, and only following orders when sending and retrieving gifts or letters or whatnot. Otherwise it’s a free-fly. Unless you were the unlucky one that got caged up. Unless you were like Shawn Riley Porter.

Shrugging he made his way down into the common room, checking the bulletin board as always. Only real thing on the agenda was that everyone was picking up their schedules, which was why he made more of a point to get up and get dressed than a normal day. Classes were important to him, but getting through lines fast as he could or getting in and out of a prime target place like the Great Hall with great speed he valued more. He didn’t want to have to be a target for anyone’s pranks or rude comments any longer than he had to be. And so he left the common room and decided to see what was going on in that awful place of torment.

when you were here before, couldn't look you in the eye, you're just like an angel, your skin makes me cry

Of course, when Dominic came into the common room, Eleanor was already there, sitting and talking and lauging with another girl in her dom. He smiled, and went and sat down on the arm of her chair. He didn't know the other girl, just that she was a sixth year. But that wasn't that big of a deal, because he hardly knew anyone around here.

Eleanor knew everyone around here.

"Good morning!" she said brightly. He smiled at her. She was such a morning person. Such an always person. "Morning," he said quietly, his voice rough with sleep and overuse the night before. Rather than partake in the loud and obnoxious start-of-term common room party, he and Eleanor had had their own sort of start-of-term party in his dorm room.

He'd shared some song ideas with her, and she'd helped him write them. Nothing sounded better to him than her voice and his guitar, but she'd made him sing it, too. He wouldn't deny it, it sounded very good. Now, he was looking forward to getting to the piano that was kept in an unused classroom, and making it into more of a composition than just some words and some chords.

It was about love.

Dominic wasn't one to write about love, too much. He didn't have much experience in that department, except were Eleanor was concerned, and it was kind of hard to write love songs about her, with her. But this one was different. It was about someone else, someone who had caught Dom's eye a while ago. Someone whose eye Dom wanted to catch, now.

"Are you ready to go down to breakfast, El?"

Eleanor smiled. "Sure," she said, then turned to the girl seated across from her. The girl had light brown hair that was dead straight, and gray eyes that looked dark in this light. "Do you want to come with us, Cass?" Eleanor asked.

That was right. Cassie Monaghan. Eleanor had told Dominic about her several times. Cassie smiled, but declined. "Nah, I think I'll...I'll just wait down here." Did Dominic imagine that the girl's eyes flickered toward the entrance to the boys' dormitories? Eleanor looked like she saw it too, but she pretended not to. "Okay, I'll see you later, then." Must she be so sweet all the time? Dom walked Eleanor to breakfast, letting his hand rest lightly on her back as though guiding her.

”Don‘t let the times get you down.
It‘s not worth it.”

Julian awoke in a very tired manner. He and Bee had been out wandering the Grounds the night before, then had snuck around and chatted and ate with the House Elves in the kitchens. It was one of their past-times, and though he enjoyed it, the tradition was always rougher than ever the first night back. He'd have to tell her he couldn't do it this year for a few days at least so he'd have time to recooperate. He was a machine or a robot that could swing back from anything if you just gave it a coin or a little gas or something. He needed his sleep. But still, it was a lot of fun, he had to admit.

He opened his mouth a few times, all the time his tongue clicking while he rubbed the back of his head, though it did not ruffle any hair. He'd had it shaved off just a month or so again and so it was very short like it was at the beginning of every year. Tradition, tradition... He shook his head and scatched his butt, pulling up his pj bottoms a little while doing so. Slowly he moved in front of a mirror he always brought and put to the wall, staring at it a bit. Slight circles, but you really had to be looking to notice them.

And so he went through his trunk and pulled out a clock, and noticed he'd woken up a little bit earlier than intended. It wasn't even seven yet! No wonder I feel so tired... the thought creeped around him and he slowly shook his head. He had fallen asleep in his uniform, so he didn't really have to change it. He pressed down on his clothes and patted them a bit to try and get out a few wrinkles, but that was the extent of his effort. He liked looking nice and everything, but not when he was tired. Especially after staying up all night. Especially after waking up early.

So he slowly left his dorm room and headed out to the common room. Nice little place; not that he spent any actual time there last night. He'd only come through here went he'd gone to his dorm to go to bed. He had been too busy intercepting Bee, and it was worth it to him. Even if he didn't say hi to anyone else, it was worth it. Julian placed himself on the sofa that was beneath a painting near the fountain. He decided he was going to wait for Mary and Mac since he didn't get to catch-up yet. Cornering Mary was easy, but Mac--not so much. He gave a small wave as a second year walked in with a pinkish face and then abruptly left again. "Morning Jinny," he greeted, faintly recalling the enthusiastic child. Heh...I referred to Kenzie as Mac this morning..

"I like my sarcasm dry and insulting. Ya dig?”

(( Quinton is mimicking Eriol Turner ))

User Image The sound of bed creaking, feet shuffling, and drawer slamming gave Quinton the idea that right now was the time to wake up. But he made no action to perform the task. Quinton continued on sleeping, drool beginning to make a large spot on his pillow around his mouth, laying flat on his stomach and his arm hanging over the side of his bed. His eyes were completely shut and his breathing was even, like he was deep in sleep. But he wasn’t. Quinton was fully awake, but just in his mind. As for physically, well… he was deader than a doornail. He sniffed. “Huunnnnggghhh…”

“Quin…” said a voice, but it felt like it was a mile away. Quinton ignored it, continuing pretending to be asleep. “Mate, c’mon. You need to wake up.” Maybe if he ignored the voice long enough, it would just go away and he could continue his morning routine. Usually this lasted for about an hour or two. But it was way too early actually get up out of bed and start the day. Something softly tugged his bare arm, but Quinton sustained disregarding this evil presence trying to ruin his morning. A sigh was heard, and then a gust of breathe…

“QUINTON, WAKE THE HELL UP!”

“BLOODY HELL!” Quinton yelled, jumping 5 feet off of the soft cushion of his four-poster bed, and almost falling onto the hardwood floor. Luckily, he caught himself. A few muttered swears started pouring out from his lips as he jumped up onto his feet, eyes frantically searching for whoever decided to disrupt his slumber, growling. CJ stood on the other side of the bed, arms crossed over his uniformed chest, smirking. “You!“ he accused, pointing at CJ, “What the bloody hell was that for?!” “Bout time you woke up. I’ve been trying to wake you for the past 15 minutes. Man, you’re a heavy sleeper.” he mused, turning away and heading toward his drawers. He began searching through them. Quinton lowered his harm, a dumbfounded look crossing his handsome features. He scratched his head for a moment, before glancing at the clock on his bedside table: 8:12. ‘Wait-WHAT.’

When Quinton looked up, CJ was already finishing tying his shoe. “s**t!” Quinton exclaimed, beginning to fly through the usual school routine. He had entirely overlooked the fact that it was the second day of school and not summer anymore, so laying in bed for an hour was completely out of the question. Especially when breakfast is half-way over and your stomach is begging to be few. While pulling up his pants, Quinton made a frustrated sound. CJ just stood back waiting, laughing. “Why didn’t you wake me up earlier?” he growled, throwing on his white button-up shirt. The other boy shook his head, chuckling.

User Image“Mate, I told you I’ve been trying to wake you up. You’re like a dead corpse.”

“Man…” was all he replied, pouting. Quinton continued putting on his uniform, and after tieing his shoes, he made a break for the exit. CJ made a aggravated sigh. “Quin, wait up!” “If I don’t get down there fast enough, all of the bacon will be gon-OOF!” After almost making it to the Hufflepuff Common Room, something small, but hard, had walked right into him, knocking out all of the breath from his lungs. And, before he knew it, Cassie Monaghan was situated beneath him, their arms and legs tangled in an awkward manner.

“Quinton Zsarcaspian!” the girl gasped, face as red as a tomatoe; he wasn’t sure if it was from embarrassment or anger. ‘Probably both.’ he figured, before, lifting himself up, but making no action to actually get up off of her. He grinned a sly, charming smile, before saying in an awkwardly cheerful tone, “Well, good morning, Cassie.” Cassie’s face, if possible, grew a brighter red, and then he felt a very painful blow to his gut caused by her foot. “OWW.” he said dully, being thrown back off of her and onto the floor on his bottom. Cassie jumped up, lifting her foot as if to kick him. But she stopped. Quinton tried not to snicker once her eyes were off of him and to whatever was over his head.

“What happened?” CJ said, his face half amused half concerned. Quinton looked up, seeing the other Hufflepuff standing over him. He grinned. “Cassie can into me and we had a little… mishap.”

“You LIAR!” she said, pointing her finger at Quinton, who snapped his head back down to give her an innocent look, point at himself as well. “Me?”

“Yes, YOU! You ran into ME!”
“I don’t recall…”
“Ugh. You’re impossible.”
“Say… why were you coming up to the boy’s dorm, anyway? Why aren’t you stuffing your face with bacon?”

Cassie’s face momentarily blushed pink, yet turned a shade of hot red in anger. “That’s… that’s none of your business.” Quinton got excited for a moment, and jumped up off of his sitting position.

“You were coming after me, weren’t you?” he questioned, smiling down at her with that eerily charming smile. Cassie glared up, cheeks still rosy with color. “NO.”

User Image“Yes.”
“No.”
“Yes."
“No.”
“No.”
“Ye-NO!”
“HAH! You almost said yes. So you obviously mean yes.
“Wait, huh… what…? HEY!”

“Ugh, cut it out, you two!” CJ shouted, rubbing his temples, “It’s only the second day of school and early in the morning, and you’re already giving me a headache!” Quinton snickered softly. Cassie scowled, crossing her arms over her chest. Quinton never knew why she constantly is in a sour mood, always arguing, around him. It was almost like she hated him! But, somehow, she always ended up around him all the time. And he considered her a good friend. Why? He honestly didn’t know. But as she huffed a huge sigh and stalked off, Quinton involuntarily followed her.

“So. Are you going to try out for Quidditch this year?” He asked curiously, putting his arm around her small shoulders. And then he smirked. "And I'm captain." “No.” she started dully, “You being captain is the worst thing that's happen to the Hufflepuff team. You know Quidditch isn’t really my thing.”

“Oh yes. That’s because you skateboard? Crazy muggleborns.”
“What’s wrong with being muggleborn?!”
“Nothing!”
Quinton pulled his arm away, putting up his hands in defense. He tried to hide his amusement, “Geez. Why do you always get so offended?”
“I don’t.”
Cassie growled, walking faster out of the Hufflepuff room.

“I think someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed todaaayyy…” Quinton sang, looking back to find a laughing CJ. Quinton’s best friend, finally caught up to him, and they continued to the Great Hall behind Cassie, who stayed silent most of the time. Quinton gave CJ “the look”. That’s when CJ nodded his head, smirking, Quinton grinned impishly. ‘This year is definitely going to be fun.’ Quinton thought as the three 6th year Hufflepuffs entered the Great Hall for breakfast.
