Now, Unlike my wonderfully wonderful other role-play, this one is purely out of my mind, right here and now. x3 On with the RP!
 Canyon Valley Boarding School is a well known school in the area. The heads of the school actually personally pick out students that they feel are worthy of going to the school. Only students that passed junior-high with complete A's, maybe one B, are allowed to go to this school, but very few of them are even picked. Students from all over the world go here, to this large school.
The two heads of the school think that it is perfect; no flaws, and nothing interfearing with the students' schooling. But they are horribly wrong. Sometimes, this school is just as bad as any normal, public high school. We have the typical stereotypes of preps, jocks, geeks, nerds, emo/goths, and the trouble-makers. All do what one expects. Do I have to explain?
The next year is coming up, and with it, new and old member of Canyon Valley Boarding School. The dorms are set up to randomly match people together, and some of the students don't end up with their favorite people in the world. Rivalry between the stereotypes begins, as well as other things. No one knows what might happen in a school like this. You get to decide.

[Personality]:: Timid and untrusting, Tara keeps to herself and rarely goes out of her way to meet people. [Biography]:: She lived in a moderately wealthy family in a quiet neighborhood. Living with her father and older brother, she became a tomboy and because of this, girls never really wanted to play with her and boys thought she was ugly. It didn't matter to her, however, as she found friendship in her brother, Tommy. Despite the 5 year age difference, he was always there for her and never ditched her just because she was younger. Her fondest memories are from their lake house, when Tommy and her used to go adventuring in the woods and have races in the lake.
When she was 13, she was given news that changed her whole life; her brother was dead. A drunk driver had crashed into him while he was driving back from the prom, killing him instantly and leaving his date in a coma for two weeks. After that, she stopped talking to everyone, even her father, and she became a recluse in her room. Although she still went to school, she felt as if life was pointless. She found sanctuary in art and English and her teachers saw her talents, even if they questioned her mental state. She started wearing a lot of black and her school mates would whisper about her. Rumors were made up about how she worshiped Satan and had become a lesbian [for the simple fact that she hadn't ever dated anyone]. Slowly and surely, she kept her sights on school work, finding it too easy to make straight A's. Her father tried to lavish her with gifts, but she hardly responded; he took this time to find love in his many girlfriends, all but one whom rejected Tara. When the letter came in the mail that she had been accepted into the well known Canyon Valley Boarding School, he was more then anxious to get rid of her and start a new life with his fiancé.

When Kana was four years old, her mother...went away. And shortly after, her father commited suiside. That left her and her big brother...nowhere. That's how to put it best. Nowhere. After three weeks of getting by on bread and cheese, a neighbor alerted the police. Kana was placed with an elderly couple where she lives now, and her older brother was placed... somewhere else. Really, she has no idea where he is. She was four, after all.
Kana has come to think of the elderly couple, Tom and Betty, as her family. Well, sort of. She knows her mother is still out there, somewhere, and that her brother is too. It pains her greatly to know that they are always just beond her grasp.
So she put all of her energy into her schoolwork, achiving top grades in every class, but staying just below 'nerd level'.
Kana's goal is tro find her family, what's left of it, and have a happy ending. Well, as close to one as exists.

[Personality]:: Konnor is unusually upbeat about some things, and rather protective of other things. But he rarely takes anything seriously. He plays with people. Confuses them, sometimes does not answer a question correctly. He likes to talk as well. He is overly friendly, and if bored, will walk up to a random student, lean on their shoulder, and start talking to them as if he had known them for years. He sometimes freaks tother students out. But when Konnor is in a bad mood, it is best to avoid him. He can become agressive, verbally. Overall, though, Konnor is a good person to be around if depressed, when he is not depressed himself. He can lift your spirits with ease.
[Biography]:: Konnor was raised in a rich family, in an expensive home, with just about anything he wanted. His parents before him had been classified as 'preps' in high school, and they both expected Konnor to be a jock, or some popular kind of person. At least in high school. They were glad to see he got straight A's in elementry school, but their dream of the 'perfect' son was destroyed when Konnor entered junior high school. He was popular, yes, but he did not like being dispised by some, and liked by others. He did not like being a jock.
Konnor began a school life pranking teachers and other jocks and preps within his school. He was labled as a trouble maker, or criminal, of the school. In high school, though, he got to go to Canyon Valley, as his grades were all too good. Konnor was not challenged enough in middle-school, and would finally get a challenge at this boarding school. Konnor has been going since freshmen year.

[Personality]:: Larka's known around the school for two things. One is, he knows how to treat people, and generally how to make them extremely upset, and not seem like he means to. He actually does, people amuse him like that. He appears calm and proper, perhaps that's what puts people off. He can say incredibly rude things with a completely straight face, and this is probably the main part of it. He's a puzzling man, Larka is. He has a BBC style accent and he isn't afraid to fall into it. Otherwise, he's incredibly polite.
The second thing he's known for is smoking. He doesn't cover it up, so its what he gets pulled for most often. Of course, he never does it in class, but you can smell it on him constantly, though it's not overpowering if only for the fact that he diligently tries to cover it up. If you go into his dorm, the smell will knock you right over, at least, that's what the rumors say. He always has a pack or two on him. It's an unlucky person that gets the honor of rooming with Larka.
Larka's never made much of an attempt to communicate with other people. He'll make conversation, but only for his own enjoyment, he's an independent worker. His interest in people is more psychological, and not social. He's able to be pleasant when he wants, but this is mostly because he wants something. He's never shown very much interest in making friends, much less having a relationship. These kinds of things he'd prefer to stay away from. Larka is one of those people who believes, if it's not written down, go right ahead. He's secretly a very free spirit.
[Biography]::
Larka was, contrary to popular belief, wasn't very well bread. No one knows about his parents, though many people think that they were involved in illegal activity. Larka was found and taken in by the state at age five, by which point, he had fairly scarring memories, and was just a very scared and very thin little kid. He can't remember what happened to him now, and neither can you. Those are in files, locked up in a drawer, and are never to be opened. What happened is no one's business. No one's.
So, Larka was put into foster care, into a house he's liable to want to forget. There were quite a few of the mentally disabled children there, the kind that you can figure out immediately why they were put into state care. The house was a veritable mental institution, particularly the owner. Of all the people in the house, she probably held the lowest rank, and she was the oddest of all, when she wasn't asleep, she was dazed, watching soap operas and news with a dazedly serene look, letting small children crawl over her, and on a few occasions letting a few of the older ones use her as a toy. It was here that Larka developed a disdain for people, watching his housemates loll and fall all over each other.
He searched for a way out of this, and just did what any eleven-year-old would do. He wreaked havoc on the place. Eventually he was kicked out, to his pleasure. He lived in an orphanage for around a year before a middle class couple adopted him. He was quite a pretty child, and had learned how to talk to people from watching TV, so he imitated them. He felt like he'd gone to heaven at that point, and he decided not to screw it up. He was angelic to his foster parents, and actually made an attempt at school, which would pay off when he got older. He was always extremely stressed, playing all these roles, and he needed some way to calm down. Whenever his former foster mother had been on the couch, she'd been holding a cigarette between her lips, on the occasion when she'd gotten paid she'd vye for something heavier. He'd been getting an allowance, and was now in high school. Most of his purchases came from other students, since no one is going to believe that a fourteen-year-old is an adult. (He kept this well hidden from his parents)
His parents were thrilled to get the letter. His allowance was raised substantially, mainly for what he used it for, the amenities of dorm life (e.x. impressing everyone else). He doesn't visit his foster parents very often, though.

[Personality]:: Students love her for her personality. Xander is playful, layed back, and rather entertaining. She lets her classes talk whenever they want, just as long as they don't get too loud. She talks with the class. When she is discussing something, she may get carried away, and will just talk with the class while they work a little. Xander is, overall, a kind and fun person to talk to, and she can easily make on laugh.
[Biography]:: Xander went to Canyon Valley Boarder School for highschool. She grew up at the place, actually. He mother was the art teacher for the school, and Xander got to go to all of the classes, and learn the art like a high-schooler. She was taught by the teachers there, who all enjoyed her, and liked her. They knew Xander would go here for high school.
But when Xander was in eigth grade, fourteen years of age, her mother, who had been on a vacation, was killed in a car crash. Xander had no family that she knew of, just those at the school. One of the teachers took over for the art class, but one could tell he did not like it very much. When Xander went into high school, she was automatically stereotyped as a goth. She dressed in black, had black hair, and wore punkish, baggy chain clothing. Preps dispised her, as did jocks, emo's and other goths thought her awesome.
Xander's mood slowly faded, until she stopped acting gothic. She still dressed it, though, after taking an interest in the clothing. But she 'switched' to trouble-maker, in junior year, though she never pranked the teachers, however much asked to. Xander graduated and immediately after that took the role as art teacher. She was a master at art, any kind, too, and was immediately loved by the students, most of which still knew her.

Canyon Valley School is a large, old looking mansion of five stories high. On the first floor one will find the office, the caffiteria, and some of the classrooms. On the second floor, there are class rooms, and a lounge for students. On the third floor there are dorms. All of the student dorms are on the third floor. The fourth floor consists of the teacher dorms, and a lounge for the teachers. Not much here. On the fifth floor, one finds a sun-room, taking up the entire fifth floor. It's huge, basically a giant lounge.
The grounds are surrounded by a tall, black iron fence, the entrance the same. The grounds are mainly grass, but in the back, the fence turns into an old wall, that surrounds a forest. The wall is crumbling in some places, and the forest extends for a very long ways. On one side of the school is a pond, kept clean, and perfectly fine for one to swim in. On the other side are a group of gardens. The front is just stretches of grass, with a few cedar trees here and there.
Okay, you can decide these easily. School will start at 8:30 A.M. every school day, and end at 4:00 o' clock every school day. Lunch is thirty-five minutes long. If you have Advanced Drama school ends at 5:00.
School is on Monday through Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are off.
It is the first day students arrive back at school. It is a Friday. The weekend is used to grow used to the school again. September Fifth.
