Anyone eaten haggis before? I want to try it, but everyone keeps telling me it tastes bad. That or it tastes liked canned hash.

tastes nothing like hash, baby put it well when she said it tastes like braunschwieger.... it really does. it's pretty good. give it a go. whats the worst that could happen?

Oh it's a wee joke between my Fiance and I, he had some canned Haggis and it even made HIM ill!!! Mind you, depends on the can and how old it is, but hey, you know! Joke is always get fresh, can't beat fresh.
And aye! There's totally canned Haggis...there's vegetarian Haggis too crazy enough. Likely just the spices and some filling. rolleyes

I've had it before - we used to eat it every Hogmanay ceilidh and Burn's Night Supper with my Grandparents - It's best with the traditional neeps and tatties and a wee dram o' whisky. wink
I'm vegan now so I have veggie haggis these days when I can get hold of it, which is also very good.

Haggis Rocks!!!!
I wasn't sure i wanted to try it at first since sometimes it has liver in it and i hate liver!
but fresh doesn't taste like liver at all.
canned is AWFUL tried that once, never ever again!
