Has anyone else other then me been buying the English Dvds? If so what's your opinion on it? In my opinion.....The English version pretty much sucks. All the voices are messed up and it just doesn't give you the same feeling when your watching it. I just got volume 6 yesterday and they pretty much made Athrun look like a really bad guy with how he was talking

I totally think Stellar's (or in this case Stella) is deep sounds as if she was older confused also I was pretty shocked when I heard Rey's voice.

stellar's voice (stella) didn't match her personality like it did in jap. sounded way too mature for a "four year old minded girl". but awesome work with the old characters. it was mainly the new ones for GSD that had weird sounding voices. i personally liked the limited edition better. they syncronized everything way better.

well the limited edition dub did sound a bit better, but for the characters of stellar and rey, and dullindal, they all didn't sound the way i expected them to based on the japanese voices ^^"
you have to return my GSD LE DVD soon lito, my cousin wants to watch it too.

I didn't because it sounds too much like Kira's and sometimes i get them mixed up.

they had to make Lacus sound more mature than in GS. with the japanese version of Fields of Hope, you can hear that it isn't as...childish? as Shizukana Yoru Ni. however, with Fields of Hope in complete English, the change in the voice range was different, despite it being the same singer as in GS. it just a means to show that Lacus is now 18, no longer 16 ^^"
Shinn's voice didn't sound that much like Kira, but their tone of voice was very similar... frankly, i thought he sounded more like Athrun than Kira ^^"

still buy it. GSD may be nothing compared to GS, but it is still fantastic all the same.
just make sure that it has both japanese and english with english subtitles. that was if you dont like the english, just switch it over!
