Fire -- Northern Shaolin, as you said before Water -- Taichi Earth -- Hun Gar Air -- I forget the real name, but it means Cirle Walking.

Jet swords are used in a dual sword style of fighting (duh on my part) as to why they keep coming up when you search under Northern Shaolin is because those swords are commonly used in armed Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, the are called Twin Tiger-Head Hook Swords.

3nodding It says so on wikipedia too. Katara's movements are similar to the Yang style of Tai Chi.

Mhowe-Sun 3nodding It says so on wikipedia too. Katara's movements are similar to the Yang style of Tai Chi. I don't take the time to look up waterbending... XP and yes, I do know that each bending is based off of a type of martial art, AND that Toph has her unique style of Praying-mantis or something...

I'VE GOT IT! Jet stole the swords from a fire nation soldier when he was young, and learned them... I'm still unsure about the fans though... ALTHOUGH, Kyoshi island peeps DO wear blue...

I think a Firebender could use the moves of a Waterbender and get similar results, except instead of water being affected fire is. I think with a little work any style can be used for any bending, it just takes work, and lots of it.
